Great video. That would be awesome to do that all day and back again for more. Thanks for sharing with us all. Tight lines from West Virginia. Best Regards, Ken

This area is pretty much my backyard, I fish stuff like this all the time, I caught 15 and 16 inch wild brookies just in the last 3 days.spinners though not on lies, the creeks I fish are too overgrown for good fly fishing, short casts with a silver spinner works best for me

I stopped by Wolf Creek here in Utah today and caught a 10" brown on an Agitator, with my second cast, there is a Mayfly hatch on but no luck with that, hence the switch. My adventures are somewhat smaller but fun. Thanks for the video, it was really inspiring and fun to watch.

Great episode. Heartbreaking losing that big one at the end. I felt your pain. You might want to bring a bigger net next time. Kind of surprised you would have a net that small in a place where there are fish that size.

That's the plan for the future!

I love fishing for walleye and pike on the fly but Brookies are something special. From the little 6-inchers in my PA roots to these big, strong river beasts in Canada.

I've always wondered if you could catch walleye on the fly! Never saw anyone catch any before.

And that my friend is why you should always net your own fish. I never let anybody near a fish i have hooked... ever!

So this guy is fishing in Labrador and there are rising huge brookies all around him and he ties a nymph DROPPER with 8 inches of mono on to his #14 goddard caddis.......like, I know you are a lousy caster, but you can't hook a trout on a dry fly without the dropper?? Would love to know how many brookies got snagged on that dropper after it missed the dry.....of course, they never show these, they edit these out....just use common sense. When you are fighting that fish and its wiggling and struggliong, where do you think that 8" of mono and the dropper nymph end up?????
