I remember Malibu residents consistently lighting fires in homeless encampment areas where it would be hard to spread. With the reason of hating on the homeless.

There's alot more stability with dipping out of the ponds at Pepperdine rather than dipping out of the ocean with those winds. A heavier helicopter would probably be fine, and they may have brought one or two of them in for that reason. Not sure.

Let me say something without malice. I live in the middle of the San Fernando Valley where this is never going to happen. Multi millionaires or billionaires choose to live on the ocean where they can get washed out by storms and in this case also against a Brushy Hillside. This happens every so many years. If you live here you can afford to rebuild and if you don't you're stupid for living here. The mega Rich understand this. Vell just go to one of their other homes. I wish I had a tenth of what they have before you start feeling bad for them. Nobody twisted their arm to live there it's the dream to live there but it has a high cost. Like your witnessing right now. Once again no one forced them to live here. I went to a multi-millionaires house in West Hills he had the whole Hillside terraformed with succulents so his house wouldn't burn just food for thought😮
