ADT is an unethical company. They preyed on my elderly father. We sold his house and notified ADT. They continued to bill him for a year (we never received a bill in spite of having a forwarding order with the USPS). We sent them a copy of the original letter cancelling (that they required, couldn’t do it over the phone). They sent it to at least 5 different collection agencies over the course of 7 years. I provided the letter to each agency and they dropped it, but ADT just kept sending it to a new collection agency. Elder abuse in my book.
