I left Iran on the foot to Turkey in 80s. I was traveling the the same path but opposite direction. I stayed at a village near Ararat mountain and Noah Are. Thanks for posting your your experience. It reminded me of my dangerous trip. I'm sure you will find Iranians the nicest people you encounter in your whole trip despite what you hear on the news.

Wow I bet you have a really interesting story and we are glad you made your journey! We have surely found Iranians to be the most friendly people we've ever met! And that sais a lot because so far we have visited 50 countries but the hospitality and helpful people in Iran really top the list!

Wildfire Eurasian Vanlife Hello, the Turks of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Iran en Turkmenistan are from the 24 Oghuz Turkish Tribes. All of this people speaking Turkish with own dialect and can understand. The old name of the Oghuz tribes is ‘Turkmen’. So i am also from one of this 24 Turkmen Oghuz tribes and we ‘Afshar tribe’ are living since the Seljuk Empire in Anatolia. The another big part are living in Iran. But most of them are also asimilated by Persians. The most populair King of Iran is Nader Shah, hè was also from my tribes (Afshar Turkmen Tribe). For more information you can check Wikipedia en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oghuz_Turks

Hej both, I discovered your videos a few days ago searching for somebody who did such a travel as I am planning to do it too, almost the same way but departure from the south of Spain, as I already did the north of Europe last year, but I still miss the east Baltic countries, maybe next year. I have to say that I avoid cities and only move in the wild. I travel almost all the year, unless winter that I spend it in a little summerhouse east of Spain, mostly re-touching my camper van with details and writing, as I write short stories and poems (www.nutswriters.club) Well, resuming, nice videos well made and cool, but the best of all is your wife, I love her……do not misunderstand me, I love her adventurer spirit, she is not bothered by small inconvenients, she is in the move all the time, it seems to me that she is the leader, you are a lucky guy! Since last year, tired of sporadic sexual adventurers and after 8 years of being without a serious relation I decided to try to find a serious relation, also because I somehow felt egoistic not to share all the beauty that Mother Nature offer us. So I have tried to find a woman like her (Eveline), with this traveling and adventurer spirit, in vain and I can tell you that I have put several advertisements in many contact sites in several countries, nothing to do I only get scammers, fakers and fraudsters, it seems that such a woman like yours exist one in a million! Eveline don´t you have a twin sister? Take care and enjoy life, as we only got one!

Haha, you'll notice that we switch between the Norweigan(and farsi) pronounciation eeran and the English Iran 😁 I dont think it's wrong to pronounce Iran as the English does it tho, just like I don't think it's wrong by Iranians to call norway norwech نروژ 🤔 very few call Norway by its real name Norge 😅

Boy you just torture yourselves , you dont enjoy anything local , no local food no deserts and drinks at all, no real contact with locals , you just drive and watch. Another thing is that you should do more research on the regions you are going, the reason why there are so many checkpoints is that it is a region of seperatist terorism and thousands have lost their lives there.I am getting the feeling that you actually dont enjoy what you are doing you seem to be trying to finish what you started. I believe you should do more to enjoy yourselves.

@AK12485 жыл бұрын
You mean it's Armenia!
@AK12485 жыл бұрын
@Fatih Yavuz I didn't say I want to take it... However some parts of eastern Turkey were parts of Armenia. Even though Turks destroyed much of historical Armenian structures, some still stand... Eg old Armenian capital city Ani, and around lake Van. Not too mention millions of displaced and slaughtered Armenians from that region. Unfortunately Turkey's identity rests on denial of the past and for this reason it will never be fully respected by international community.
@AK12485 жыл бұрын
@Fatih Yavuz Transportation?? Is that what they teach you in Turkey? I really feel sorry for you guys that are systematically brain washed... I would suggest for you to do some independent research... That device in your pocket is perfect way to do the research.. Ignorance in 21st century is by choice!
