I'm with you girl..I despise washing dishes, we don't have hot running water,a family of 7, I wash dishes every single day of my life..I once had a dishwasher for 6 months, the joy,but that was many years ago, cook from scratch every meal.. its the one chore I will do anything to put off..I'm actually going to wash dishes shortly..roast chicken dinner things from last night,plus breakfast and lunch things fron today..wish me luck 😅

These look great! One treat we make with our acorn squash is roast them halved, fill the center with a combo of maple syrup/brown sugar and fresh cranberries. Roast until soft and add toasted pecans or the roasted squash seeds.

These look delicious! I tried to make apple cider last week, but I ended up making apple butter. I’m definitely going to try again!

I would never waste 350 bucks on a compost bin. I'd Just buy some random fertilizer honestly. 😮 I can't believe how expensive that Is... The house looks great btw. Very cozy and inviting. Perfect for fall. 👻🍂🍁🍄

Sprout those apple seeds. You won't get the same apple as before and it could take seven to fourteen years to produce fruit but, it is a fun learning experience. Johnny Appleseed is kind of a big deal here in Ohio. If you look into heritage apples and how apples have been genetically modified since their origin in Kazakhstan is really interesting. Don't plant your sprouted seedlings outside until the trunk is at least the diameter of a pencil. Protect from deer.

Apple pulp muffins did not rise due to using all purpose flour. I think the recipe called for self rising (not all recipes are clear) since i did not see baking powder in the ingredient list. Baking powder can be made with baking soda and cream of tar tar.

Love your channel, im not vegan, but I do have quite a few food allergies. I make most of my food from scratch that I possibly can. I have been buying a rotisserie chicken once a week primarily to make chicken broth from as well I can make several meals from the chicken. I especially love cooking in the fall, I utilize my crockpot as much as possible.

Thanks for sharing your recipes, they all look delicious! As an experienced baker, I think the reason the muffins didn’t rise was because you didn’t add any leavening agent like baking powder to your recipe. Plus you used the peels in your apple purée which made that heavier vs using plain applesauce. The egg basically acted as a binder. Because the apple purée was so thick, the egg could not help lighten the batter like eggs do in baked goods. You could try separating the egg and whipping the white to help lighten the batter but adding baking powder will definitely help with the density of the muffins. Just mix the yolk into the wet ingredients, then mix that into the dry ingredients. Lastly fold the whipped egg white into the mixture. Another thought was the mixture was too wet/dense, you might need to cut back on the amount of apple purée or you could add more flour and another egg to lighten up the batter. If you do add another egg, separate it along with the first egg. That will give you more whipped egg whites to lighten the muffin’s texture.

@@raisingwildflowers you’re welcome, hopefully the tips can improve the texture of your next batch of muffins. Another option would be to reduce the apple purée amount, add the baking powder and an additional egg along with a bit more flour. You can try just mixing both eggs directly into your batter without separating them and whipping the whites. That should yield a lighter, fluffier texture. Good luck with tweaking your recipe!

Surprised by the eggs. Are they unfertilized?
@maryshank78253 сағат бұрын
She said they were from her own chickens
@raisingwildflowers3 сағат бұрын
The eggs are from our chickens. They technically could be fertilized but we collect them every day and our chickens don’t sit on them so no baby chickens are in there 🥚🐓

I’ve successfully substituted mashed banana for eggs in baking recipes if someone would like to do that. I googled for the ratio.
