Thanks for these AWESOME videos !! Ya'll are living the life. I was in the Air Force and stationed at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls in the early '60s for 3 years. There, I learned how to fly fish. Not a lot of fishermen back then, caught some monster trout. Nearly ever weekend we fished somewhere, from Bozeman to Glacier. Was in business for myself in Texas in the '70s, managed to take off for 30 days a year and return to the Big Sky Country. Now I'm 81 yrs old and watching your videos bring back all those memories from the land that I love, truly God's country. Thanks again and ROLL TIDE ROLL !!

Awesome video. I have a 74 dodge sportsman 19’ rv I’ve been building for fishing and camping trips next year. I put solar panels on the roof with 2 100ah lithium ion house batteries for it and so far the solar power has been awesome. Plan on hearing it with a small wood burning stove. Built a kayak rack to hold 3 of my kayaks on the back bumper. Pretty excited to have it for an adventure rig for next year.

If coffee and/or tea is a must on the trip (when isn't it?) on top of packing the percolator, I always keep a Stanley 32oz stainless steel French press in my backpack for emergencies so that even if something were to happen to the percolator (or you forget it) you can still easily make yourself some coffee

Hyped you guys are coming to Colorado. Make sure you stop into Trouts Fly Shop. Im assuming youre gonna be doing alot of floating on the Colorado and Arkansas, but if you have the time, fish Cheeseman Canyon one day (NOT ON THE WEEKEND) and get some use out of those new simms waders. Its some of the hardest trout fishing in the country but its gorgeous and will test your angling skills. also hyped to see the return of scotty o, guys a character. Ill be purchasing some items from your store to support the cause, look forward to the series and maybe ill see you guys on the river! Cheers 🍻

I have gone to Ennis, MT for a fly fishing trip, it was so much fun, definetly go to beartooth lodge the next time you go! They make all their flies in house along with custom leaders and fly lines. Sadly though, the madison river is gone, due to a dam breaking, so hopefully the next short bus diary shows the river full again!

great stuff guys, would still like to see a map or two mixed in showing where in the sate you are maybe with the bus as a tracking mechanism. LMK if you need help with it or some graphic transitions. Pro tip: when shooting in big sky country as it heads to evening, adjust your white point on the camera to meter the water so your fly action can still be filmed. sky will get blown out a bit but who cares.
