I love that you guys film and include the good, bad and ugly. So many videos want to make it looks like, "yea we killed it"... this proves that in actuality, sometimes, it almost kills you between cars, mud, weather etc. Keep killing it guys!

I love what all of you do. All of you are great ambassadors to fly fishing. Keep up the great work. I’ve been fly fishing since I was 3, so that is 47 years on the water. In the past 5 years I’ve seen younger people on the stream and that is great. Keep introducing people to fly fishing.

Sitting around a campfire, after a delicious meal, listening to a friend play guitar and sing, is probably one of the single-most enjoyable experiences life has to offer.

Well done fellas. Always enjoy your production. Dad lesson at the beginning. Every car you own should have a small tool kit with about 50 good zipties and some electrical and duct tape- no excuses. $50 all in and you saw on this trip how it can change your day! Much love from FL. Big Snook season here!

You guys should look into doing a trip for the Michigan Hex Hatch. It would be a challenge to tape but it’s one of the craziest things I’ve seen with my own eyes. Like the salmon flies of the east. Always love the vids, excited to see what else y’all do this year!
@halvo11 Жыл бұрын
Please god no we don’t need anymore people fishing that in Michigan. It’s already packed enough bro
@Derk-ip2pq Жыл бұрын
@@halvo11 I agree it gets crowded but mostly only on the Au Sable, some of the lesser known rivers can be empty and still have good hatches. You’re right though it could kinda spot burn the entire state and that might suck
@dankochanek8056 Жыл бұрын
You guys should try and hit the Hex hatch. I live in the west now but lived in Michigan during my youth. Great hatch, almost better then here. Why the hell would anyone bring politics into a fly fishing ? We get away from this when we go fly fishing. Dumb Ass!!!

Thank you so much for making these. I live in north Idaho, around some of the best rivers you can get to. I’ve taken it for granted for so long, but these videos have got me on the river with my rod over the past few weeks. Haven’t caught shit, but I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t the most fun I’ve ever had. Just thanks for reminding us how awesome it is to go chill in nature and try to land some big ol fish.

If "almost" only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades, then I'm a lucky bastard. I almost got to fish the HFR in the fall of '21. Pretty sure that I missed out and got bumped due to my Cali residency. I get it, there's a LOT of crazy, wacked out people down here and we should get a raised eyebrow most the time. Fortunately, I ended up fishing the Madison in Yellowstone instead with Lonnie Wells. He showed me an excellent time with 5 fish. No trophies but a couple whites and browns and a rainbow. Maybe next time. I must admit that I envy you guys a little, but I do get to live vicariously through your quality vids. Brings me right back to the back packing trips in the high Sierras chasing Goldens with my brother. So, thank you for sharing your adventures. For 30 minutes I get to try and feel like the only thing that matters is my indicator...Fish On!
