Great story telling! Loved every second, from a guy that spends 20+ days a year on the Kings River. Wild Fly and JD both have a new fan! Holler if you ever want to go back down the river.

Man... I am a huge JD fan, what is awesome about this is I lived in Roland OK and spent most of my time in Fort Smith, what an awesome place to be. I went to that very pawn shop that you had purchased the guitar. This video makes me smile big time! Love your videos Scottie this is an amazing one once again.

This is absolutely among my favourite Wild Fly films. It's a great story, really well put together. JD comes across as hugely talented, genuine & a really great guy. I'm sure that he now has many more fans across the world.

Great film! We love Arkansas as well. Loved JD’s personality and music sound. Caught my first small mouth on the Buffalo River as a guy from Toledo Bend La it was awesome experience and I was able to relive that moment as I watch this film.

This is hands down one of the best works you’ve done. Maybe I can relate on a deep level having a family member pursuing music, but the incredible storytelling makes this one an instant classic. I also want to paddle the upper stretches of this river so it’s cool to see some footage from it!
@WildFlyProductionsАй бұрын
Thanks Gatewood! I need to go see Shane Smith & the boys play sometime. And Time to start planning next years paddling trips 😈

I just finished watching this. For the record, I learned about Wild Fly from my son’s good friend from high school, Jake Kaufman. I believe you and Jake may have been in the same frat at App St. I was hooked immediately watching all your productions. I learn about fly fishing, I’m a newbie, but I was drawn in by your ability to capture and convey the moment and pull your viewers in. It’s obvious a lot of thought and time goes into the process and your episodes have evolved and broadened. You have taken what started out as a hobby and turned into a production. I said all that to say this is my favorite episode ever. I love fishing and I love music. You guys had lots of laughs, but the vulnerability of sharing the realities of what you both do, made this an incredible episode. I will continue watching Wild Fly, but I am also a fan of JD Clayton. And hell yeah I wanna see more of Feathers & Strings. Thanks, David
