The first wader you showed on Flatruet was a wood sandpiper. I didn't expect them to see in an open area. The phalarope is my favorite, thanks again for such beautiful pictures!

Just heavenly Göran, your footage and stills seem to get more refined with every video, I so look forward to every new release. Were these taken mostly on the 400 f2.8 and a few with the 180-600, if I may ask? Cheers, Robert.

Hi Robert and thank you for your kind comment 🙏😀😀. It’s taken with the 400 mm f-mount. Thanks again 🙏🙏😀😀

You are a very inspirational nature photographer who cares about our environment deeply, the negative impact of clear cutting is huge and wildlife suffers a lot or even disappears, you turn photography into art and your work is at the highest level!! Thank you for sharing, greetings from Canada

Great video Goran. The situation with deforestation in Sweden is unfortunately not unique, incredibly sad that those birds have lost this habitat. I loved the Ruff stills though, and the accompanying musical score! It'd be nice to see some uploads in higher 4K resolution...

Another great video Göran. I was in Norway a few years ago and missed out on Siberian Jay, so it was nice to see them in your video. Shame about the tree felling and I can appreciate your feelings. What was the reason? Keep up the good work, I love your videos. Tusen takk skal du ha. Norsk, ikke svensk men jet vet du vil forstå. 😆

Thank you so much again Mark and thank you for your kind comment 🙏🙏😀😃. I don't know why they cut down the forest but they are probably going to build holiday homes there but that is a guess. The Siberian Jay is a very nice bird. Thanks again🙏🙏

Hello Göran, I understand that you are said about the Swedish nature. Every year, when I stay there, I'am totally disappointed. The forest industrie is especially in Sweden, Norway and Finland a big criminal organisation and have buy a lot of people. I think you know what kind of humans I mean. And a happy future on the horizon will come back, the smart us-people wote for Trump I think. About the Great snipe, did you make some pics of this amazing bird during dusk and/or dawn? For me, this species together with that kind of mood shows a big part of the behaviour and live of this bird. Best wishes from HS

Hi and thanks for your comment!! In Sweden we have two powerful organizations and they are forestry and the hunters. As soon as they receive criticism, they can afford to immediately advertise their cause just to gain their own benefits. Many are just like criminals! I was taking the Photo late in the evning. THANK YOU AGAIN

No, Sweden is not alone … Money talks everywhere ! Only, once its gone forever, some may regret the decision having cut the forest for making money!
@Halmstadfoto4 ай бұрын
Thank you so much Frank. We can continue and raise public opinion and maybe our old forest will be left behind. Then it is probably the case that money means a lot everywhere. Let's hope it turns around.
@janvanholten75924 ай бұрын
It's so stupid not to preserve your old forests. They are so rich in biodiversity. Plenty of less valuable forest available in Sweden I'll guess?

As soon as they receive criticism, they can afford to immediately advertise their cause just to gain their own benefits. Many are just like criminals! We have a lot of old forest that doesn't really have much value, but it's still being cut down. We have very little primeval forest left, unfortunately.
