Yeah, it's amazing to me what all went into photographing these Crane's! I have a hard time believing it, what it so easy and common in some area's is rare and difficult in other area's. For instance in Bosque Del Apache, these are a common bird and there are literally millions of them, which you can walk right up on in normal clothing and get some amazing images. Here, you have to resort to these types of techniques.

Stalking Cranes is so much fun! They seem to have really good eyesight, especially when it comes to detecting silhouettes against the horizon. I've never come closer than 50 meters before they raised their heads (meaning they will fly away if you take one more step towards them). So it is really really really challenging. Love it! Great behavior on Mortens part, as usual and lovely pictures with the background all in green :)

I can’t explain the feeling I get from your videos. I’m currently in Thailand and has been the past 2 weeks. I’m not gonna be home for a while and I miss my red deer, my fallow deer, my beautiful herons and I’m dying inside to get back home in the rain hahah. I didn’t think I would say that but I miss the rain so much and you DEFINITELY take me back home to good old Denmark when I watch your marvelously cut together video of an amazing day, in our beautiful nature of Denmark 🇩🇰 I miss Denmark haha and thank you so much Morten🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Nice video Morten. The Sandhill Cranes here in Florida aren’t skittish at all. If you stay low, quiet and slow they will quickly start to trust you. They are very curious birds and will often walk right up to you. Many times I didn’t have a short enough lens to photograph them, so I just put the camera down and enjoy their company
