I can't believe that after going through all that trouble of getting that pigeon, you still feel bad that you hadn't done it sooner. Where I live if you called any animal control or a wildlife rescue place (not even sure if there is one) they would have laughed and said its just a pigeon. That's great what you do caring for all animals, I wish there were more people like you
@gisawslonim97166 жыл бұрын
They wouldn't say "it's just a pigeon" if they knew anything about pigeons. They are highly intelligent and can be taken hundreds of miles from their home and released and they will always find their way back. They are the only birds to recognize themselves in a mirror. They communicate with us and let us know precisely what they think and want, they mate for life and are super great parents.They are funny and endearing.

Hello from Kentucky , USA! I first found you all on Netflix, and fell in love with your show. I rescue dogs and have 11 right now, plus 2 strays that I feed(and wormed) that will not come near me. I leave the food for them and they come for it after I leave.Those are the saddest cases because they have never been socialized and are so very afraid.Simon and Sarah and Lucy, you are my heroes !!!Here in the Appalachians, we rarely see foxes. They are shy and stay to themselves , hidden in their mountain homes. I love you and the wonderful work you do. I have cried with you and laughed with you on your rescue adventures...You are an inspiration and a blessing.
@sleepybunny23 жыл бұрын
I live in US too at the Appalachians. Unfortunately, foxes are not so lucky in the US because rabies is prevalent among foxes, racoons and coyotes. If a wild fox is caught, it will be tested for rabies which means the poor anmal is killed and beheaded. In UK rabies has been eliminated thanks to their wildlifd rabies vaccine program. In thd US a few states have this program and have seen a huge drop in rabies cases. I live in North Carolina and the government will kill the animals if caught alive to test for rabies. It is very sad.
