Wildlife Aid It's KZbin's usual wonky transcribed subs. If you don't pronounce a word perfectly it will often mistake the word for another, making for really funny subtitles

Well done! 3 (well, 5 total) successful releases, all in their own unique style and manner. Even though some might think they're "just fish", it wouldn't be very humane to leave them to a muddy grave and slowly suffocate to death. If I'd been the one spotting them, I'd probably take a quick trip to my father and ask if I could borrow his fishing waders, so I could 'shlop' on out there and "🐟" them out by hand. I thought I'd be squirmish about the eye surgery, but since the "worst part" had already taken place before, it was more a sense of relief, as I saw foreign objects being picked out from the eyeball. As a nature lover, I was always crawling through bushes and thickets as young - Although I never had the unpleasant experience of having my eyeball punctured, I know the feeling of dry, pointy branches in the eye; having something actually STUCK in the eye, must be such a relief to have it removed! Loved the little joyful leap the fox did, out of its carrier when released, as well as the badger, with its little bubbly rump bobbing up and down, as it ran down the road, embracing its freedom once again! Really heartwarming! Thank you! 😄

Well, they don't go out to rescue pets. It's wildlife aid, not pet aid.
@sagerider27 жыл бұрын
Well, they did rescue a poor little wun bun. Or is it a one bun?
@madman2u5 жыл бұрын
@@Huntracony I think it can be hard to notice the difference between some wild animals and pets, especially cats. Any animal in distress is technically in need of rescue, lets say a dog or cat stuck in a river, mud or a tree(the cat obviously, unless it's a very dexterous dog). Generally speaking though, you are correct, they don't take in pets since they're in the catch, treat and release business. Even if they could afford helping pets too, housing them would be a real issue. In most countries, there are hundreds of thousands to millions of homeless pets. In the UK alone, it's estimated that there are over 9 million homeless cats.

What an awesome job with the fox! I totally understand why diagnosis can change once on the surgery table, but it is still very disturbing to think that some vets thought the eye needs to go. Not critical, I do see how that can happen, they didn’t see as much as one can see on the surgery table, of course.
