Fun Fact: deerclops's hitbox doesnt cover his feet like very other enemy in terraria, so you can treat it similarly to Dont Starve, and kite his attacks by going through his legs. You WILL still bounce off if you shield dash into him, but if you have hermes boots, and dash from far enough away so as to not bounce, you can loop him and constantly attack without getting hit! Hope this helps someone!

I really appreciate your builds in this series, they are seriously impressive! Small tip for regular houses: make the walls around 2 blocks thick, it makes them look better and can add more detail If you want to improve storage clarity even further I would recommend using different kinds od chests (made from marerials related to what's inside). Additionally you can name them using item IDs. The formula is [i:id_number], for exmple [i:757] will show up as Terra Blade Also, all kinds of moss can be harvested with a paint scraper although only the glowing variants can be turned into bricks. Don't forget you can also obtain helium moss by throwing any of the glowing ones into shimmer

When you mentioned the sense of the space station looming over your base, my mind instantly jumped to the Zelda Majora Mask moon. When you pulled out the map with it finished, the space station reminded me of the egg cannon of the space colony ark from sonic adventure 2. Both of these definitely feel very space like to me, but I dunno if either of those speak to you in terms of implementing. I think the space cannon aimed at the majora mask moon could be a very sick visual depiction if you were interested in either of those franchises.

I ended up making a bunny farm that was a lot simpler, it was a platform you stand on with one above it, above that a shaft with a slight cliff in spawn range, with barriers on both sides above that which went past spawn range. You have to wait for the bunnies to fall off the cliff so its not as fast, but it works about the same. Also, general tip, these sorts of farms work well for worms, too. Get that golden worm!

There are so many kinds of chests in this game that no one ever needs to bother with painting them. By the time you get the painter, you'll have at least five different kinds of chest in enough variety to keep a storage area with all your items nice and orderly. And that's if you care about keeping it orderly in the first place, which most people probably don't.

I’m amazed I’m not the only person on the planet who actually uses illuminant coating! 😭 But first, a couple things! >:P If you wanted a space background, you can actually shimmer an angel statue to get an aether monolith, which gives you the shimmer’s space background and lighting effects where ever you want! The downside is that the lightning effects might darken your build too much, so I personally use illuminant coating to counteract it! Illuminant coating actually gives your blocks maximum brightness (equivalent to fully lighting them with white torches I believe?) which I find amazing for things like castle walls that are thick and can’t be lit up in the middle since they’re solid. Anyway, happy building! :D
@johnnysmith59232 күн бұрын
Oh actually! I totally forgot about the moss part right after! So: you CAN scrape normal, non-glowing moss, the exact colours of the non-glowing moss are determined by your horizontal position in your world. For glowing moss, I believe only two variants spawn per world (might be wrong on this). Glowing moss can also be shimmered into a rainbow variant that cycles through colours like rainbow bricks. Interestingly, moss will spread across stone, and some stone-type blocks including grey bricks. The moss also grows “tufts” which you may or may not want, which can then be blocked using echo blocks (which you can also actuate to prevent player collision). The paint scrapers have a 1/9 chance to drop the moss if you break these tufts with them! Combined with the stone-spreading property, it’s fairly easy to create your own glowing moss farm anywhere you’d like. And that’s all my moss tips :P enjoy!
@GMOPsyche14 күн бұрын
A cool idea for the space biome would be to leave the minecart tracks around and paint them with invisible coating once you have access to it, so you can freely grapple around and kinda fly in low gravity.

honestly you really just have to spend a lot of time obsessing over tiny details and trying out all of the blocks you have available to see how they can be used. Try committing to specific themes (npc occupation, etc.) and use reference images of things both in and outside of the game.

Idea: for the last episode after defeating Moon Lord make a golf course that has 18 holes and goes through all the projects and constructions you have done in the world, so you can upload the world for download and everyone can admire your work while having fun with a fun golf map Also signs with lore and ads for this channel (luv u)
