Thank you for showing us the best parts of Texas, our young people, the up and coming, and the teachers that guide them. Without them, we’d never be The Great State of Texas.

Great story. Teaching and working with the students for a common goal, real life experiences and real life lesson in hard work with rewards. I could watch these kind of stories all day. This is what should be on the news, not the crap we see on a daily basis.

Now I'm really homesick! I'm currently displaced in another part of the State where most people aren't from Texas and have never seen a live cow. 😢 I'm from up there. Such a better way of life than the city. I was working on the farm starting at age 5 bottle feeding calves before kindergarten and in high school did farm & ranch work for a large operation. Naturally we were ag kids. It's great to see the FFA still thriving and kids doing work. So many today won't work; it would cut into screen time. What a wonderful program. In addition to being responsible for livestock they're learning valuable business lessons. We NEED more stories like this to inspire today's youth. And perhaps their parents who don't make them responsible for anything as youths; may have less 20s & 30s returning home to have their parents take care of them cuz they can't handle life!

Hey you. Yeah, you! Get your family out of the city, move far away from the suburbs. Live in a small town, contribute to your community, buy land, grow a garden, raise your own meat, hunt & fish, go to church. Your life will improve 100 fold
