ok well just a new suscriber, french suscriber sorry ... anyways top 6 things in the wild? i just answering the question ... 1) need to stand up in the van for hygiene ( means showering and etc ...), 2) need to cook (means really cooking as i am a french gastronomy fan .... seriously food is important), 3) need to sleep (means a van size that fits your body), 4) stay warm because home sweet home, (means have a heater, whatever the technology but a heater), 5) have enought money to move, means buy gazoline, and 6 is related to emancipations, globaly everythings that helps you to reach the autonomy of living .... i don't know if my way of writing is correct but my idea is here. take care ! hand wait for your next video ................. o i've almost forget a dog or security of course a malinois is in europe an exemple ... bye from paris

The Sawyer Mini water filter is a good and useful product but its use doesn't mean you can safely drink from every source of fresh water. The device does filter contaminant particles and bacteria, but does not filter chemicals or heavy-metal pollutants - these commonly might include chemicals used in agriculture, or leeching pollutants from even old industrial processes. To filter these things from water you need carbon filtration such as found in the Katadyn pump-type filters - these too are slow filters! The Sawyer water container bags are also made of quite a stiff plastic and have a small spout which makes them quite awkward to fill. A more flexible water bag is better, especially if it also has a wider filling aperture as well as a spout that screws into the filter. Failing that, large soft-drinks bottles can be used when empty as these will fit the filter and speed up the filtering process.
@WildSheGoes

Hi Richard thank you for this I did not know. Luckily u have been getting my water from sources unlikely to be contaminated my chemicals. I will keep this in mind through

Hi Marina... just a quick question, I will be driving down to south italy in August. :)... do you have any suggestions on the best route from Calais ? . thank you.. x
@WildSheGoes
@WildSheGoes 6 жыл бұрын
good question, which way were you thinking? I think the quickest way is going though switzerland and crossing the mont blanc (expensive) but I personally preferred going from Bourg Saint Maurice up to the small "St Bernard Pass" to la Thuile in Italy. Definitely my favourite route although it takes longer (Calais-Paris-Lyon-Chambery-Bourg St Maurice) . Otherwise the southern coast of france from Nice to Ventimiglia is lovely too but I think it's gonna be super hot and busy!

Cool, i live on a boat so similar i guess and i would add batteries and baby wipes. Do you use an inverter or 12v power for your laptop?
@WildSheGoes
@WildSheGoes 6 жыл бұрын
How did I forget baby wipes? Oh maybe i'll film an hygiene items list so I can include tohse too. Yes I have an inverter, to power laptop and charge camera batteries. I know it would be more energy efficient to just keep everything 12 v but I'm kinda lazy, an inverter makes everything easier. What kind of boat do you live in? I'm looking into it.
