40 years ago Eli creek used to travel about 500m north beside the sand dunes and was 3m deep in places and uncrossable after half tide. nice today but so different. Love Fraser (Kgari). Lots to see and do. Glad you had Duffy on the trip to provide the Comic Relief.

I have been to Fraser Island 5 times. Absolutely love it. First time was back in the 80’s when “Happy valley “ was brand new. Saw wild horses and actually stood on top of the Maheno wreck fishing.

I live in Brisbane and shame on me I have never been to Fraser Island (Kgari) or even Stradbroke - mind you I've been a lot of other places, just haven't prioritised home. Maybe it's confusion between working to live or living to work. I really admire you guys, you have the best attitude and plenty of skills earned through experience - and you can't buy that.

Living in Brisbane I regularly get to Fraser / Staddie etc. It's a shame that you only got 4 days to experience the place considering how far you have traveked to get here. However, you have all the west coast beaches lol.

Another trip to Fraser Island was around 2013 , we stayed in a cabin at Cathedral beach park. We had a dingo jump into the back of our Suzuki and steal a cap, I chased him hoping he would drop it but i lost it 😂😩
