When I was young a camp oven would be filled with what you shot, caught and some home bought items. Last classic I had with mates was some lamb belly, onion, carrots, potatoes, pigeon and rabbit. Was great. You guys are at a new level talking about spices releasing fragrance , etc. Leave the city and enjoy more basic bush survival skills. Having said that, a top episode you guys looked like you were having fun....I was jealous.

Oh no the drone! This hit me hard as hubby just bought me my first drone, a DJI Mini 2, and when we were testing it out in a National Park this last weekend, I was worried about losing it when I didn't realise I'd set Return to Home too high at 100 m, and the Dji started shooting up into the sky instead of coming home. Cue panic mode, lol! Seriously though, looked like a great trip away with your mates and loved the ocean footage before the drone went for a 🏊‍♂️.

Great vid Cam. Sorry to hear about your drone. My last one had a fly off. Lucky I found it a week later in the bush. I’m really hesitant to fly over water. My new one has the care package. Could be worth checking out.

So couldnt get the wreck back??? that the only problem with the DJI cover, you need to give them the wrecked drone to claim.... no good if its lost over water :( Great videos, keep up the good work :)

You should try your house and contents insurance they have a section called portable contents that includes laptops phones and other stuff , worth asking you never know. Taken off the RACV insurance web site "Portable contents are items you or your family own that you might take outside of your home. Items may include: camping and sporting equipment (when they're not being used) prescription glasses or hearing aids electronic devices like a smart watch, phone or laptop baby capsules and luggage."

Drones are an expensive hobby - I am on my third drone. Last one was attacked by wedge tail eagle which killed the rotors so it crash dived into a deep gorge, unable to retrieve.

Yes, amazingly the canopy stayed on the frame, and its not at all bent so the entire thing folded away again!
