Hey partner ur an awesome story teller. We been listening to ya since the bloody beaver day's. We have a ranch outside chiloquin Oregon among the Klamath and modoc people. Great tribe's. Thanks for keeping their stories alive. From sum old cowboy's. wonder if folks know the story is that the U.S government took captain Jack's head and to this day have not returned it..

The Rogue River Wars would be a great study for it's ferocious nature, shaping a forgotten corner of the Old West.

Your colorful addressment of these aforementioned stories are as entertaining as a porcupine at the state fair or a squirrel in the fourth pew. That said, I'm hooked.

Nelson was huge man and a major political figure in Kentucky, and very and and arrogant. When Davis asked for a pistol, and comrade came up and "I have the item right here." As Davis went on his mission, the pistol owner helpfully said, "It has a trainter trigger, work light." Good advice, as it turned out. The story is from Shelby Foote's "Civil War: A Narrative."

Another great story but you’re wrong about the naming of sore ass legs it’s not because of the water contest in the 1700s it was known as by curiously before it was visited by the famous Spanish explorer San luv de’cock Francisco on his way to the coast Where he founded a city sharing his name and energyIntroducing the natives to whiskey and Molly after he passed through the natives then referred to it as soreass even tho it’s 300 yrs later Some of the ancestors of those tribes still walk funny
