This is perfect so happy I found this video as this was the last year I visited wildwood at the age of 7. I was on Google maps reminiscent trying to see if I remembered wildwood from summer 1994 and I was certain it changed in 30 years.

Trip down memory lane during lock down. 5 mile walk across the ash tray to get to the water. Super Cade!!! Dropping coins on Kung-Fu, Punch Out, Shinobi, and Spy Hunter at the Boardwalk Mall! Hot dogs, funnel cake. Cheesy computer printout Wanted pictures. Batman logo T-shirts everywhere. Going backwards on the Sea Serpent thinking I was going to fall out. Piers burning up every now and then for insurance money (allegedly). Castle Frankenstein I'm looking at you. Was never old enough to go into the castle's (Dracula or Frankenstein) before they disappeared. Man great memories always had a blast as a kid. Thanks for posting.

One month later I was there in 1994 for the Record and Sports Collectiable show at the convention center. I went a few times after and had great french fries from some place(pizza?) near the rooftop minigolf place. Anyone have a clue the possible name of either place regardless if they are no longer there on the boardwalk?

@@WildwoodVideoArchive yes they were but not really. they were very expensive and anyone who had one used it for extremely important calls only because of how high minutes were. my dad had a cell phone in 94. battery life was usually an hour and why would you talk for an hour straight your bill would be to high so most people didnt. most people didnt have a cell phone in the 90s. all of this info is from my dad btw

you didnt call your friend asking them a simple question. it could wait because i think my dad got 30-60 mins A MONTH thats it. once the 2000s came there was texting and 100s of minutes a month but still you werent on it all the time there was no internet. you couldnt do social media on a flip phone

Bozo was the best! He should have gotten a commission, all of the money he brought in. He especially loved to rag on the teens n 20s guys because their egos were so tender. They'd spend good money trying to dunk him.
