This was shot in Jammers basement and released on DVD in 2004, the guy in the background was Escobar aka Esco Big Bars RIP 🙏 Guy behind the cam is Jammer, a rapper and a wicked pioneering producer (made the beat at 11:57 that you said is fire) from N.A.S.T.Y (at the time) and now BBK (since 2005). He is also the founder of Lord of the Mics (alongside Ratty). Right at the back at the top of the stairs is Skepta.

GRIME is like Hip Hop's cousin, comes from the soundsystem culture that came to England from the Caribbean with the 'Windrush Generation' and had its own evolutionary journey, through Jungle/DnB and House & Garage music and mixed with British culture. That's why Grime MCs tend to rhyme in different pockets of the beat than Hip Hop artists, still has some of that Caribbean cadence, like Jamaican Dancehall toasting. A GRIME SET consists of a DJ mixing through all kinds of electronic instrumentals, usually at 140 beats per minute but NOT exclusively, while GRIME MCs take turns spitting their lyrics one after the other. As one MC spits the other listens out for the changing 'riddim' (instrumental) and decides on which one of his lyrics will match beat. If an MC follows with a perfect lyric, perfect flow or catches the beat perfectly it's like sticking a landing in gymnastics, that's the ONLY time in GRIME where the music is stopped. The DJ 'wheels' back the riddim just like in Reggae Dancehall and starts again. Another good example of GRIME culture is 'Ghetts ft Chip - Can't Run Out Of Bars'... a must for 'GRIMEY THURSDAYS'...

They were bars that they had at that time for the most part. They did sprinkle a few verses that ended up on songs years down the line but for the most part they were just rhymes they used for radio sets and live mc performances. Tbh those 20 mins would've been lightwork to them because back then all the UK mc's were raised on spitting non stop for 1-2hrs for pirate radio shows.
