That’s true! It’s more so that in media that’s not of real humans we assume features in art and other media. Like how Disney princesses are actually super slim but we often don’t remember just how tiny their waist was in the movies. So women having super gentle features in art all the time makes sense so our brains register such things or even how children are done it art always having bigger and rounded eyes and more rounded faces

As an artist, anyone who says something like "it's too hard to do X," usually that's just a limitation on that particular artist. With the right mindset and patience, you can accomplish almost anything in art. Just like the lady from MT who collects random pieces of driftwood and makes the most AMAZING horse sculptures I've ever seen. You'd thing it's impossible to make anything out of drift wood. But she definitely proved me wrong.

This is an actual problem with character art in games and animation btw. Management always wants female characters to be smoother and nearly featureless so any attempt to create a female face with distinctive features will usually be met with resistance. Not to mention that there's usually only one body type for female characters whereas male characters are allowed to come in any shape.

As a woman, it looks good but what he said that women and children both look more delicate so supposedly it's harder to carve is insane We're going to pretend women's faces are all curves and men's faces are cubes? There's no dna gene for the face of a male or female It's just genes for features on a face A male can have a rounder face, a female can have chiseled jaws Men were classically portrayed with raise cheekbones BUT it's LITERALLY a thing to look for in a woman model Look at modelling agency and catwalks and you see their cheekbones Why there SEEMS to be women and men faces are only bcos of hair length and makeup There are plenty of men with plump lips and women with thin ones It's UNLIKE with shoulder width or hip ratio
