For me, content is mostly done solo which is weird for an mmo rpg to me. I feel like mtx becomes an issue when it puts others ahead just by paying irl money. Which does exist in this game but no so much that affects me. I feel it like it doesn't affect me as 99.9 percent of the things you do in the game are solo so you get this mentality that you don't care what other people get or do. It's almost like the other players aren't there.

Game has been all but forced to go this route because it totally hasn't been dying/losing players for many years now. About all that's left on rs3 now are boomers with 10 jobs, 4 ex-wives, 2 kids, and 3 dogs who just p2w and want everything to be "second-screen" afk which isn't even playing the game if you ask me. Like what's even the point... lol

Yeah, totally. Let others have a chance to "catch up". When I returned it took too long to be able to access the latest combat equipment and content... although I had a full Nox set in the bank to get started. Without that, it would have been way too painful.

@YappinYappuer i think players forget a few years ago we were complaining about the wild inflation in game. This is a reasonable correction, you might make less but you need less. Besides, there are plenty of ways to still make huge profits.

I might be in the minority but i find it fun to listen to your yapping. Have you considered uploading podcasts? A couple of OSRS youtubers do them but i don’t think RS3 creators have tried it as much. Could be a good niche to fill

Honestly Farming is banging for money making nowadays since Seeds are so cheap. Sorry but not Sorry. I wonder if Mining is decently profitable too with the Ore Spirits. Still doing herb runs and theyre basically 3m a pop.

All skilling sucks for GP minus a couple of methods like making runes for 30m per hour. Farming is only viable at 120 for free super composts. You still need a dwarven harvester set to double herb harvest to get 35m per hour at a push. Plus a lot of growth potions. When compared to clues or pvm, it isn't worth it really. Mining even less so. For a staggering 8m per hour at a push. Pvmers or people that do clues just buy these sorts of things if they need them as doing it yourself isn't worth the time.

@@nathanloosemore4141 Depends on your time really. I don't have the hours to do nonstop PvM anymore. I can pop in and do a 6 min farm run though. I do a lot of clues too so I do get cash from that end but because they've been constantly adding great PvM content and then just devaluating skilling through more AFK content, skilling just can't compete anymore. Maybe in the future but currently your right but I don't have time to sit and boss for hours on end so I'll do my herb runs, my other quick money makers that bump me up an easy 10m a day without too much grinding since I do value my time.

Masterwork weapons need and enchantment that adds a passive. Ideally, it could use Ports resources so it keeps it as a higher level, user made crafting tree.
