I don’t know if I am correct or not but the edited photo with the help of Claude looks more saturated, warm, giving more of the golden hour vibes which is great loved that and I absolutely loved how Luxeria edited it giving it a more natural look and has that human touch! All the photos were stunning!🖤

HI Luxeria. Thanks for this, I love landscape photography. What a gorgeous location, I totally adored the browns and beiges grass seed heads in the foreground. I prefer your edit rather than what was suggested by Claude as yours has a more subtle and gentle softness to it that seems to suit the golden hour better. I do feel that Claude could be great tool for beginners as starting point who can then go on use the tips provided to develop their own style. Also lovely to see Mr Biscuit and your Dad accompanying you for your little adventure.

The photographer's eye will probably never be replaced. However, it's arguable social media has already allowed AI and excessive manipulation to become so established that it has become difficult to tell 'fictional' landscapes from real ones. I think that's where AI will be most influential. It will enhance photography to the point of it becoming only 'based on reality' rather than representative of it. 🖤

Luxeria,I think Claude A.I had a great starting point and as it learns more it will give more options,but have to say the final image you edited looks the best version,because it came from your artistic vision which you've learned over time.But would say A.I as a tool for photography has potential.The place you visited looked amazig.(Matt) P s I think if more professional/industry photographers use A.I it will learn more and get better in the help it will be able to give.

Luxeria this is brilliant. I've been asked to edit and design some things for my job and I was going to rely heavily on AI to help me. I"m feeling a lot more confident about that now. Of course, I would love to be in a position to know how to edit these things myself, but I'm just starting out and so this will help me eventually be able to do these things myself intuitively. The claude edit wasn't too bad at least, and it's okay if people use AI to help them learn as opposed to replace any effort in learning. Especially since it can't understand nuance. I did like the kinda of exaggerated glow of the sunlight over the fields, so there's something haha

ai can help teach things. but the suggestion of it was quite sunburst in colour very yellow like the sun is when farther on the horizon so it feels off - that's why you chose your edit not as bright and colourful . But yes ai mostly gives one answer how to do stuff and the rest you can adjust as you feel like it. I mostly love my bird shots and edit them sometimes with very warm and very cold feeling to see how i like it even when i first leaned to one side it helps to kinda do the opposite and let it sink in

for very beginners I would recommend looking into pre-owned or refurbished! It’s a great way of getting advanced or pro level cameras for a fraction of the cost (even older ones create amazing content) I actually have an upcoming video about pre-owned cameras! 🖤

I prefer your edit, the Claude edit looks a bit like looking at the landscape through a pair of cheap sunglasses. As for the raw file ngl it looks a bit washed out idk

thankyou! yes I didn’t mention that raw files are usually very grey as the pixels are entirely unprocessed information from the camera sensor, so they contain more data to be processed however you need them to. 🖤

I like the way you're approaching this as a sort of learning tool etc rather than to produce a finished product and i do agree its probably the most ethical way to use it. but part of me wonders, if from what we know Ai is just scrubbing content then isn't this technically still getting help from landscape photographers who have posted their work or some advice online and its being regurgitated as a pastiche by the ai? I'm someone who sees most forms of Ai as simply theft, so i guess i just dont see why i would choose this over seeking advice from other photographers who have posted about it online 🤔

I think it’s hard to define all Ai as theft, using the blemish remove tool in photoshop is also a form a generative learning tool, but that isn’t art theft - unlike something like Dall-e which simply scoured the internet. With this sort of request or challenge, it isn’t about curating a specific look but understanding how a professional software product works, and even then it still made mistakes

Of course, which is why I said most. I think when someone has an across the board hatred for ai it can be a little reactionary. But I think where I'm going with this is, if this Ai is scrubbing this advice from the Internet, be it it's interpretation of certain photography styles or more importantly from advice that photographers are posting online, then it's potentially (likely) taking from the revenue streams of people who've posted their advice to platforms like KZbin but now people are getting it re-told to them via an ai rather than finding it from the people who've done the work to post it if that makes sense. It's a fluctuating issue but its gonna take a lot for me not to be apprehensive about it i think 😂

I'm not sure if ai could be an effective teacher, a lot of the chat bots have been proven to write untrue statements or just wrong advice based from a lot of fake information already floating on the Internet.
