Will AI take my job - how to even begin answering this question

There is much news about AI taking away jobs. Yes, some jobs will be fully taken over by AI and some hardly - at least in the near future. We cannot apply the same thinking to everyone because each one of us is different.
We we can do then is to understand our uniqueness, our environment, and our skills to build mental models of the world - so we can answer this question for ourselves. Two people might end up with two different answers to the question.
With understanding, we can then change and adapt - to position ourselves better in a future dominated by AI. That's what I summarize as a starting point for exploration.
