Once upon a time, my panic disorder ruined and controlled my life and caused me excessive, extreme headaches and other pains as well as a variety of other physical and mental problems but I can say that after years of fighting, I have finally become free - and gained some superhuman abilities as a result... Don't give up hope! It's possible! You can get it!

Yep, anxiety that goes on has mal effects, emotionally physically for myself. I get stupid and pissed off as feel stuck in those periods. Grrrrrrrr, so bumping into your post is like duh, just practice whats wkd for Patrick..as i have before but get off track. Low Carbs really made big difference. Cutting down on caffiene big difference. Attention to low blood sugar big difference. Maybe beacause i adopt some new to me healthy thing I trick myself i can stop the other practices? Dunno. Its a choice if i feel i am depriving myself likely to go backward...so just viewing this post when i needed it. Thanks for your choices Patrick.

I just hit 40 years old and I can definitely say that anxiety and insecurity improved much at this age but you still cannot function like a normal person.

I found it impossible to fix anxiety without knowing what the cause is, its worth trying to figure that out

You are on the right track but I can tell you 100% certainty you can overcome them but you need to understand a couple things. One is that the ability to undo and prevent the attacks is in your hands. The second is that you need to untrain the thought processes and habits that caused them in the first place... It doesn't just go away on its own if you have it really bad... You have to undo the bad habits and tendencies that causes it to begin with and you have to use the right food to help your body adjust into better habits (this affects hormones, muscle energization and blood flow) I have also used specific diet to help fix muscular tendencies...

Hello K, thank you for sharing that! Very true what you said about untraining thought processes and habits. Fascinating stuff the human mind. I think cognitive behavioral therapy could be very beneficial for most people.

I had a childhood severe anxiety disorder. My parents made it complex bc they didn't understand any of this neither did the doctors. Blood-sugar is the key for me.

Full Spectrum CBD oil obliterated my anxiety issues immediately. Started taking it in October 2019 and I haven’t had a single anxiety issue since.

It helped me in the short term(CBD gummies and softgels) but it does build up which has been shown to not be good for frontal lobe activity. I use a Gaba medication now with similar results. Mainly sleep-help

Cool meditation benefits you. Especially being adhd. Myself adhd autistic I could never do it or deep breathing. Made me want to punch a pillow. Something I learned in 2023 from an awesome autistic psychologist on one of her platforms is that adhd hyperfocus and hyperfixation ( getting lost kinda in something) creates Theta Wave in Brain which is what we hopefully attain with meditation. Allistics do same we just do more of it. So maybe dont realize but we are giving that to our brains. And of course Stimming is calming, as adults want to not hold back stimming can be harnful. Lastly is believed that meditation deep breathing MAY ? Be harmful for some adhd autistics ( dont know what backs that up) thank you for your shares. Easy to absorb, you sharing your personal experience.and honest goods not so goods. Genuine..😛

Patrick, cool cool TM is a feel good. One thing I tried years ago was Tai Chi..liked that as am in movenent, not like meditation i guess? Thanks for your choices, woorking thru your life thst create your shared content..😛😎

Just add ti my comment re: meditation. Not suggesting anyone not use that, every adhd autistic that can do thst gets benefit fir sure. Justvsaying uf yiu cant then some things we do naturally gave benefit. Thx
