So we adhered to that shitty rule at the top of the latest episode of After Hours because thousands of people tune in every week and we want them to know where they can find us when After Hours ends and we move to our new home. And to our surprise, a call was made to cut that part entirely, so that instead it just seems as though After Hours is over, and that's that. Posting here to let you guys know that that isn't our plan, and we're absolutely launching a Patreon, and we hope you follow us there when it's live, which should be in a week or so. We've tried to give you guys more information this week but it was edited out. We don't think it's right to keep you guys in the dark. We also don't think it's right to delete comments! What the fuck is wrong with Cody and Noel? Ben and Emil were a hit. The funniest shows in my opinion were Eight Ball with Trill and TMG tied second. Honestly I enjoyed half the conversations you guys have more than theirs half the time, like anyone cares about bumper cars or their multiple month long trips or whatever. Honestly I've put off listening to this bc I just feel so sad about how this is ending. The radio silence from TMG is just absolutely deafening.. I never thought they would cut their talent off from being transparent with their fans, or at the very least not just say they wish ben and emil all the best. Its not that they've said anything insane, its prob within a contract that they cannot advertise for a competitor, but the fact they arent trying to say they still support ben and emil is what's messed up to me. Idk I'm grateful I discovered the trill boys from tmg but I feel like I'm growing out of the tmg boys. Which is saying a lot I've been a fan since their first song.

This is the most underrated fucking podcast of the 21st century. It's a great idea, great concept, and the name is hilarious. I love the content and the dynamic you have. I have been a huge fan for years now. You guys are the ones who inspired me to get curious about economics. Because of this podcast, I have been teaching myself about economics, stocks, etfs, different investment strategies, etc. I was also inspired to learn how to budget my finances and am already making money from the small investments I've made. It's all because you guys inspired me to look into this stuff. You guys are the seed planters and seeds take time to grow, like those long-term dividends amirite? I don't think the Vision will flop. I think a lot of people will buy it. I do think that it's going to be a wasted investment though. I think VR/AR tech vastly underestimates how much people multi task. And limiting people to 1 screen or these virtual screens just makes no sense when we're all doing 2-5 things every hour. When I'm watching TV, I'm also usually cooking or texting, or scrolling twitter. Same with when I'm working, I'm always doing multiple tasks. Who is going to be wearing this when they have kids? Or dogs. You're going to wear your headset while you cuddle on the couch with your girlfriend? Or you're going to pet your dog and be watching Dune with a headset on? I genuinely don't get it. And this is coming from an Apple guy. I think their computers are so impressive since they released the M1 chips and they've become worthy of their price again finally. I think people are just bored with tech and want the next big thing so badly. They tried with Crypto/NFTs. They tried with Alexa and Homepod. You're not getting anything new or special besides AI. And that's not really a consumer product. We're reaching Tech Ennui. We're so close to peak efficiency with consumer products and everything else is just frivolous and expensive and not actually helpful to our lives. We're just rounding the edges.
