This comment will most likely go unnoticed by Colbert and anyone from his team, but I would absolutely support Colbert running for president. I think he has all the necessary components for the perfect politician. He's charismatic, he's extremely intelligent, by necessity he has studied Washington, watching his videos outside of the Colbert Report and this, he's clearly a stand up guy with a good moral compass, he seems to have more energy than most people, he's an outspoken Catholic who knows his stuff (which should appeal to the Bible belt) and it seems like he won't take shit from anyone. Again, it would most likely never happen, but if it did, I would vote Colbert.
