Emotions and creativity is something that current "AI" technology and probably will always lack. Luckily for a lot of jobs AI is over hyped by the media, what we have right now is advanced machine learning programs or an advance string of algorithms, essentially AI isn't as powerful or smart as some people think. Sure it can learn things quickly but only by learnings patterns already mastered by humans. I also remember Sophia the "AI" she was completely scripted everything from the movement to the words she spoke. I think it'll be some time before we see real AI developed, because by the definition of AI, we haven't even developed it yet. Even then AI won't be able to replace writers due to the creativity and critical thinking that copywriters or any writers for that matter have to use.

Hey Alex, what do you think of GPT-3 and it's natural human sounding, and even empathy replication in it's writing? Not that I know of... the best way to practice, in my opinion, is to write mock copy! And you don't need any fancy software for that. Just find some copy out there that you think you can improve on, and go for it! I also usually have my students pick a brand they love, and pretend they were hired to write copy for them - and then do it!

It's not a must have, especially not as a beginner. But it will definitely strengthen the success of your copy, and if you can master SEO & copywriting - you'll be pretty irresistible to clients!

Hi Alex Cattoni, while what you say makes sense at this juncture, especially the reason#3, how could we overlook the possibility that #ML or #AI would be able to generate #marketing messages that resonate with the #brand / their #audience. I even suspect that AI would be able to #automate the #copywriting process, based on how the audience responded to the brand in the past and how the brand should continue to #influence its audience going forward and emerge as the market leader, all based on evidence / facts. AI is going to pose such a threat to almost every aspect of human endeavor.
