I always hated how they had music in practise your there to work and get better not to have a dance party. Also im sure there wont be any off days after a lackluster game like keefe used to do.

Very surprised when I heard yesterday the Leafs had been playing music during their practices and from what I understand it wasn't from time to time, it was every practice win or lose, even playoffs and also I heard it wasn't simply a playlist that they put on, it was an actual DJ. First time I've heard about a team doing that. Might not seem like much but to me it's showing these guys that practice means business and it's an important element of preparation that needs to be taken seriously. It's like the old saying goes, you play like you practice.

As a Habs fan, my jaw dropped when I found out they had music at practices - for years! What the actual fuck?! Did the fans know about it all this time? If so, where was the backlash? If not, why did the media coverup for this amateurish crap? Music at practice is unthinkable in Montreal, Boston, New York... in any city / organization that takes hockey seriously and holds themselves accountable. It's practice, it's work, not a goddamned grade eight field trip for a leisurely skate while sucking lollipops. Honestly, this is so revealing about this half-assed team. It's mindboggling.

I always referred to our previous leaf teams as DisneyOnIce because it’s been like watching a bunch of young talented players play pond hockey. Craig is here for three reasons 1. Turn boys into men. Finally. 2. Help coach men to compete 3. Compete in the post season to win it. Not just a lucky first round win. F the music F the skinny suits F the hats and sneakers Hockey players first Rich Famous stars second We have had it backwards for too long. I can’t wait to see Berube healthy scratch some stars this year when they take a shift ‘off’.

One of the most annoying & divisive things among a group of people is music, especially if its being blasted at high volume. Some will like it & some will hate it but put up with it so as not to rock the boat. I guarantee you that half or more of the dressing room will secretly be thankful that they don't have to listen to someone else's music blaring while they try to get ready for a game or wind down after one. Ear buds people, that's what ear buds are for. If you want to drown out those around you, use ear buds & leave everyone else at peace.

I had a feeling there was a lack of discipline during their team workouts last year. It’s only when they were down 3 games to 1 against Boston, they decided to pull up their heals and do some work. By then it was too late. Most of these boys get paid millions of dollars. They can enjoy themselves by playing their best game by keeping the lead for once and doing their best to defend it. Again they get paid millions of dollars.
