The fact that Blake is legitimately trying to blame Justin for her shampoo brand flopping is really making me doubt her story. She actually claims in the lawsuit that the sales of her hair care brand “plummeted” after her public feud with Justin. But there were a lot of people who bought the shampoo and didn’t think the product was worth the price. Also, not trying to be mean, but a lot of people don’t like how Blake’s hair looks, she says she doesn’t like to use conditioner and it shows. The fact that Blake’s hair care brand hasn’t been able to compete with other brands on the market is not Justin’s fault. And the fact that she’s bringing her hair care brand into this at all makes me think she has an ulterior motive for filing this lawsuit. We already know that Blake and her husband were fighting for creative control of the movie. She’s probably mad as well that Justin didn’t automatically cave to her demands. And since she doesn’t want to take accountability- for the fact that people don’t like her OR her shampoo brand, she’s blaming Justin for everything, and she’s out to destroy him by any means necessary. This is all about ego and revenge, in my opinion. Also, she blew Justin’s “fatshaming” comments out of proportion so who’s to say she isn’t exaggerating + blowing other things out of proportion. She took that norwegian reporter congratulating her on her pregnancy as a personal attack. I’m not really inclined to believe her side of things.

First of all this is not a lawsuit. BL filed a complaint, a precursor to a lawsuit, which is just her POV that can easily be debunked and may not make it to lawsuit or settlement status. This also means because it is her POV, there is no context provided to each accusation. Popcorn Planet already debunked one of them; BL claimed JB was showing video of naked women. Apparently it was a production member/friend showing a recording of his wife giving birth as there is a birthing scene in the movie. Maybe to help the scene and acting to give it authenticity? Another debunked fact is she claimed she secured the texts between JB and PR firm via a subpoena, but that is not true. It is being suggested she paid an employee for those texts. Who knows, I have not seen the movie nor have plans to. Clearly, egos were ruffled. I just don't like the fact that BL and RR have more power in Hollyweird and will yield it to ruin JB. Not cool in my book.

I don't know how she thought this would salvage her reputation. She's certainly blown up Justin's if that was her intention. She's not liked because of past diva behavior and turning a movie about DV into HER project, essentially taking over. My opinion, and I've worked on a lot of sets - if you're working with a prod co that's small, less experienced in movies, you're going to get people that don't know how to behave, as in cracking misongynistic not funny jokes, skimping on the budget etc. Blake comes from an A-list world, so her points were most likely valid. I echo what people said earlier about Blake, but the other thing I keep thinking is about how she was fine with this until it cost her money and hurt her image. According to the lawsuit wasn’t the only woman harassed or made uncomfortable on that set, but rather than use her power or address it or protect those women, she was fine with it UNTIL she didn’t get what she wanted and the movie flopped.
