I've been with my partner 14 years and I feel confident in saying that there are different ways to experience love, and how a person wants to experience love is different from person to person. Ever since she's been working on movies with big director names and some of the hottest male stars in the industry, I thought 1) Tom has a be a down ass man to not get insecure about HIS place in the relationship 2) she is starting to shadow him in all things that matter to a typical straight man (money, recognition, influence) which makes me think he's not a typical straight man if he doesn't care about any of that...at all 3) she will not slow down for him or change for him and he's going to just have to be ok with that, I think her career matters more to her tbh 4) he CANNOT mess up this relationship because they've now branded themselves as a package deal which puts so much pressure on a person to be perfect and it could drive him to seek vices if he's not. I can’t imagine how weird their lives must be in comparison to ours, it makes sense to ignore the small when everything is the biggest it can be. He’s talked of his struggles with alcohol/addiction and I wonder how much that impacts his choice of stability at this time. I also think that they’re both sexually fluid and that it is a thing that drew them to one another (agreeing fully with what you saw based on being a fan)
