is really curious how will felt so much insecure in the tree than in the tiny holds he was climbing just before xD for me would be the opposite. ive been training a lot of climbing skills on trees and i feel that it is so much more organic and the contact with the hands also much better than a rock or inddor bouldering

Who can say if this is harder than Jade, a handful of V15s that have been flash/downgraded, or the one v16 that was flash/downgraded (Gakido)? It's very impressive nontheless! :) I guess V14 is the hardest boulder flash and Will has done it again.

Something to consider is Jade has probably the most census of boulders of that end which have been flashed meaning the consensus tells us it's solid v14. Throwing my hat in the bucket saying that's still the hardest flash

It’s a FA Flash, a whole new definition and therefore harder than Ondra’s Jade flash.

hardest flash was and still ist adam flashing gecko assis, at least imo. Its also 8B+ but its in Bleau. Flashing that grade there is just insane, still to this day. But if you just take the rare number, this (if 8B+ will be confirmed later) is one of the hardest flashes ever, since all of them are 8B+.

@@the_zenclimber idk. its FA after holds broke. But you still use the same ones and beta is still the same too, just with worse holds. Oc its technically a FA but its nowhere close too what youre talking about. Flashing a completly new 8B+, without knowing any refined beta and have that grade & beta holding up after repeats would be insane and prbly the hardest ever. But thats not what happened here tbh.
