Keeping up with Chinese innovations. I see a trend of China attempts to go beyond contemporary technology. Such as Graphene Chips, Photonic Chips, Quantum communication, alternative energy, bringing new uses for DC power, and so much more. China is putting into efforts for space age technology or sci-fi technology. The investment to fast forward into space age technology is a real thing, I think in China. I don't think China will settle for current benchmarks in innovation or technology. I think China will look to establish the benchmark in all categories of technology.

China is in the lead, according to the US Arms-funded Australian thinktank ASPI, in 37 of the 44 major tech sectors. "China’s global lead extends to 37 out of 44 technologies that ASPI is now tracking, covering a range of crucial technology fields spanning defence, space, robotics, energy, the environment, biotechnology, artificial intelligence (AI), advanced materials and key quantum technology areas. The Critical Tech Tracker shows that, for some technologies, all of the world’s top 10 leading research institutions are based in China and are collectively generating nine times more high-impact research papers than the second-ranked country (most often the US)." There's no turning that around. The US is done. Stick a fork in it!

The Huawei chip is 3000 times faster than the Nvidia chip and uses FOUR MILLION times LESS energy. Since energy consumption is a major concern about AI, this definitely places China in the AI lead for years to come. With the competition for AI and the struggling western economic environment, these will be crucial years. No, none of these will be exported to hostile western countries. Very possible they will not export any at all. It won't take long for China to implement these in advanced defense systems. Radar, air/missile defense first, later into the most advanced weapons systems. Active targeting systems. Used in hypersonic missiles and they'll be virtually unstoppable.

@@robertgittings8662 if you can read Chinese, it is common knowledge, there are a lot of cutting-edge tech news but only in Chinese and thanks to western sanction, a lot of Chinese research are no longer submitted to western centers. so of course, it looks like there are no tech happening in China and also, really strategic news will never even appear in the news. Chinese culture values truth and decorum, so boasting is not good for business. sometimes too much but in this case, it is well justified, if they report anything, it meant that they already had something further along. they will not reveal any information to inform the enemy, what the west do not know, people like Raymonda especially, in fact, the enemy mostly is not the west, but the other Chinese companies. just look at the EV industries. who is killing who? it is really a dog-eat-dog scenario in China, same in all industries, especially consumer capable companies. still, thanks to the west, the Chinese government who usually do not try to intervene for fear of killing the capitalism with Chinese characteristics, had an easier time to rally all these normally hostile companies to work together to counter the west. truly, without this push from the west, China will take a very long time to the top or maybe even never, why would they, they do not view anyone in the whole world as enemy and will gladly trade for anything needed. no longer, Chinese will never be caught in this situation anymore. in the past, China has been at pole position multiple times but due to primitive tech, they are unable to overcome governance where corruption and being too capitalist coupled with decadence led to the empire crumbling and external threats hastening it. now, with Chinese style communism, more like socialism with Chinese characteristics. they can effectively control and direct their efforts to ensure an empire that will last for a long time. also, with the current tech, no need to take other territories, lots of room in space. so, I expect, in the next few years, there will be a lot of space related news coming. whoever is first to establish bases out there and more important, to be able to hold them will dominate all. just putting up a fort without any soldiers is just a waste of time. but to survive and thrive for the long term, that will take tech that is currently out of reach.

One lesson to learn from past experience with Beidou, Space Station, Space Travels, Supercomputers, renewable energy etc is to never underestimate China's resolve, resource and talents. Necessity and adversity (e.g. sanctions, suppression) are catalysts for self-innovation and tech independence. Another thing about the Chinese is they tend to improve on what was available. I am confident they will overcome the tech sanctions no matter what these politicians (i.e. Raimondo) say. Politiicians and lobby funded think-thanks say what their audience want to hear. Frankly, China doesn't even need to exceed the US tech so quickly. All they have to do is staying on par or even slightly lower. Take for instance their Kirin 9000S chips. They are 7nm chips. Are they the best? They will take up an additional 3nm space in your smart phone, putting its efficiency aside. On the record, they are at least very close to what Apple is offering. Good enough for Huawei to revive its smart phone market. Their domestic market is enuf to ensure their success. But big plus point to China, cut the their dependence to the western technology. On the side, it'll also degrade the US capability of spying on China made devices.

Tuition fees are kept at subsidised rate of10 percent of the full fledged fees I need to pay. Ultimately failing to do so, he lowered the standard of the pass marks in the exams. And that is only one of many types of systems and chips on the brink of being production ready. It's unlikely that China will do a tit for tat on banning the sale of chips to the U.S.. As a rule, it thinks what the U.S. is doing is fundamentally wrong for a world leader to do, being on the cusp of being the next world leader, they won't likely want to emulate U.S. bad practices unless indeed there is a real national security issue at stake. In the end, these things are determined in the aggregate. How consistent is your system for supporting your tech industry. How vibrant is your internal economy. How many qualified professionals are you graduating to work in this field, etc., etc., etc.. And this is where China wins. The U.S. tends to play whack-a-mole with everything and then like a child with advanced ADHD can't keep its eye on the ball, suddenly losing focus and spending its extra cash on the already bloated and constricting python around its neck, the U.S. military industrial complex. China has no such problem with its attention span.
