Anyone who has owned a classic station wagon knows that it's usually very hard to find any parts available for them. That is the case with our 64 Ford Galaxie Country Sedan, and that is why we are going to find out today if a new complete floor plan from AUTOKRAFTERS for a 2 door coupe will fit in a wagon. This is a project that I have been putting off for a long time because of the amount of work involved, but I am going to show you every step of the process so that you can do it yourself.
You can buy the same floor pan at autokrafters.com

Good morning there sleeper dude! I'm watching your latest as I write this. I watched your Factor add and just a little helpful tip from a Long term and salty cook. I understand that you have to do and say what your sponsor tells you to, but if you can, it would look much better if you could take your meal out of the plastic box and put it on a plate. We eat first with our eyes. I understand that you probably don't do that when you actually eat at home, (I do but I'm trained to do stuff like that), but for the add, it would make a world of difference. Love your channel! Have a great day!

One thing I would suggest is getting a derusting solution and soak all the hinges so you can see if the pins and bushings are worn out and may be get the doors sand blasted.

Refreshing to see an entire family working together, what a blessing. I am very impressed with the bold and beautiful colors squeezy utilizes in her artwork. I was taught years ago when dealing with interior screws, mostly lower ones, you have to take a sharp pick and clean the head of the screw then tap screwdriver with a hammer into the screw to break off corrosion under screw. Then the screw comes out perfect almost every time.

Right here is the real Brady Bunch/Partridge Family. Fantastic family involvement! I wish my Dad taught me how to weld. That's so cool you're teaching your kids how to use different body tools, and power tools. That was very fortunate that the coupe floor section fits the station wagon/sedan floor section! Smart idea/plan on widening the transmission tunnel/floor/toe board section. I would add a bolt in cross brace section to the one you had to cut off for the transmission tail shaft. That will tighten up that area of the floor pan and frame rails. Nice art work from Squeezee! Ralphie and WaWa did a great job stamping/drilling out the weld holes for the floor pan!

In the first video I felt like the floor was pulled out from under me...but with this video you just "floored" me... this just shows that just about any car can be saved and brought back to life and reused. You don't have to put a lot of money in them either. You are not restoring them to "like new" but you are making them reusable. I like that your children are learning from you and your ability to do what you are doing.

Plastic bathroom paneling makes great door panels if you want to cover them with fabric. They are also very easy to form with a heat gun pipe or tubing. If you want to go really stylish, use veneer-side paneling.

I don't know why you don't like Miller welders...we used them at work welding brackets to axle housings, hundreds per day. I have a Handler 140 that's perfect for sheet metal, and a Miller suitcase style plasma cutter, and I've never had any issues. Good video, looking forward to the next one!

I would highly recommend the Primeweld Mig 180 as a primary or backup welder. It's half the price of my Everlast imig 200 and comes with an aluminum spool gun. I have the Primeweld Cut 60 plasma and can attest that Primeweld has the best customer service in the industry.

My first car was a 63 Galaxie and when i re-did it i found some 64 Thunderbird bucket seats that fit very well. They were white so i used interior spray dye to make it red like the original interior so maybe if you happen to find those they would look really good in your 64.

Thats what I was thinking. I have a 64 T-bird and have noticed a lot of Fords of that era used those seats from the factory. Upholstery kits are readily available too. Modern seats just wouldn't be the same.

Love the wagon . Grew up in Ford & Chevy wagons.. My folks had a 60 chevy wagon when I came along ... Then 5 wagons followed.. Finally in 1979 my folks bought a new Chevy Suburban . It had a.c. & power windows . It was a welcome luxury with 7 people stuffed in it...

Use the copper weld through primer, and in the center of the areas where your plug welding, scrape a small area back to bare metal. I never have an issue doing it that way and perfect plug welds and fully protected. Hope this helps.

Please take care when grinding. Having worked in heavy industry, I've seen numerous people reporting to eye hospitals to get metal removed from their eyes followed by a lifetime of eye drops and eye specialists visits. Full face shields if you wear prescription glasses is what I used.

You are SO right Henry👍, 10 years ago, I was grinding metal with a Dremel, and wearing just my eyeglasses like Josh does, and I had a tiny fragment get into one eye and made it almost impossible to close my eye and blink because it was so irritated...it missed my cornea by a hair. The eye doctor that pulled it out said I would have gone blind in that eye had it entered a millimeter more in that direction. I have been wanting to say what you just said to Josh for a while, but I didn't think he'd take me seriously...So I hope he does see your post (and mine!)
