Best thing was to see the huge smile on your dad's face when the diesel finally popped off. Enjoy the years with your dad while you can.

I have an 830 I bought back in the mid 80.s. It smoked to easy I thought so the next spring I pulled the injectors and took them to a diesel shop to check. Turned out that 3 of 6 holes were plugged on one injector. And two different injectors. I got two of same brand back and it ran much better and didn,t smoke as much. Still runs great to this day. Not quite 7000 hours and still original engine and not rebuilt. Does not use oil either. Sweet tractor!

That surging sound of the poney motor..... stirs up some..... memories of an old 70. 🤠

Great job you did there. Good to see these old tractors brought back to life. It is refreshing to see people who are creative rather than those who have channels that only want to destroy things.

Great to hear that sound. My Dad had a 1959 JD 730D narrow front. It sounded much the same. Sure miss operating farm equipment.

The 720 is my favorite 2 cylinder. I got to run one in my younger days. 4 bottom mounted plow. 14 ft harrow gator. I always thought it was beautiful with the duals on to.

Dad looks happy to have his tractor back. Wilson doesn’t look to thrilled that his nap area was being occupied. When will you get back to the 5020??
@donaldales77399 ай бұрын
I believe 57 hp from factory settings so if you had 60 with a plugged injector it was running good then....

The smile on Dale’s face said it all. And being that he got to use his Mickey Mouse finger just added to the happiness. 😂 So what project is next?? 5020? Dirty Peter? Another tractor? Or an excavator?
