Valid points. One thing everyone concerned should keep consider that there's a lot of VC(Vanture Capital) money involved behind these technologies and thay want their return so that's why alot of hype is created around these technologies. just like web3 hype between 2020 and 2022 .

Amazing video as always. One thing that I was thinking while watching this video was that Devin can even become good at understanding the client's problem. Let's say a client tells Devin that they need software for inventory management, Devin can also ask the same questions that a human asks. Like "What payment methods do you want to choose", "Tell me more about your supply-chain" etc. And maybe after getting all the requirements, Devin suggests the client to not go for a software solution, but instead use a spreadsheet (and even prepare a spreadsheet for them). Again, amazing content.

yes, but the problem is the junioir s/w devlopers or jr. web developers entry level jobs will affect. ONLY seniors or who already have x amount of experience in programming can survive. The best option just take AI / ML courses or degree. just dont go into s/w or web anymore, there are already zillions of people (tech and non tech) who are working as jr. s/w dev.

I am your jounioir, in 12th class but I am a front end web developer I solve multiple css problems I known you cant compare these css problems with real-world coding problems but still I am in 12 and not have a lot of experience in web but I fond that the problems I solved even my seniours can't manage to solve them and they fell tired of it and literally I help them to solve some of their grid related problems. So the point is just try to develop your interest in problem solving it will help you a lot cuze nothing will work if you have no interest in it.. I known I am way youger and inexpensive to give you advice but hopefully you will get My point ❤❤ I just want to help you cauz I suffered from this phase and I known it's really painful

hey bro i am currently doing fcs and i have a good knowledge of python and some C++.One of my relative, he is a very experience Software engineer currently working in dubai he told me not to rely to much on Chatcpt for codding if you are beginner...i am not talking about experienced engineers but for beginners like me and probably you this is not a good practice because it will not help us to develop our problem solving skills

@@atif9020 I agree with you to some extent that we should focus on building a strong foundation in programming basics. However, if we completely disregard AI assistants, we might lag behind in the field. You know generating good code from GPT without an excellent prompt can be challenging. I believe that in a few years, natural language could potentially become the coding language itself. So, if this becomes a reality, my question is: How much do we focus on programming language syntax, program logic, and prompting?

Insightful. thanks. the point I got is the task that were performed by senior software engineers , now that task will be expecting from fresh grades. After devin like ai technologies, getting job as a fresher will be 4x more difficult. Because fresh and entry level developer task(coding) is handle by AI. I think the only one way is exist for entry level software engineers , learn AI, ML or data science. What you think?
