Well records must be qualitative than quantative. I dont think Novak is motivated to win 104 titles to just show numbers. He holds the all time record of winning 72 big titles against Federer's 54. Only that matters. Winning one more slam would be more glorifying and edifying than breaking Federer's 103 titles mainly comprising 250 and 500 tournaments. Novak too, right from 2021, is more choosy in playing tournaments. He skips even many Masters. If only he had been desperate to break Federer's record he would have done that by 2021 itself recklessly participating in tournaments.

Look at the Graph major chart for Navratilova in 1988 when she didn't win a major for the first time. She was 31 and ended up winning 1 more major in the next 7 years. I think Novak career will end like Serena Williams who after 36 remain competitive for 4 more years going deep several times but didn't win any majors

But the media did not promote or project the emerging women as giant slayers or Batman hunting the Joker. The respect for Serena was never diminished and she was lauded for he durability. No ? Novak is unlike anyone. In every respect. So.........I am 100% sure he will win at least one more, if he gets a window without any injury. If he gets injured, let us say due to his age, then I am sure he will call it quits. But then, 2028 olympics ? May be he will play doubles and mixed doubles.

Honestly, Inter is one of the very few Tennis Analysts who is realistic and also how he views the sport as a whole. Everything this video mentioned is excellently explained with strong arguments. Not much to add here. However, aside from that, Djokovic biggest chance to win his 25th Grand Slam title is at the Australien Open. The reason for this is because Alcaraz is vulnerable due to his inconsistent serve, being impatience on the court, and lack of mental toughness. Believe it or not, one of Alcaraz’s weaknesses is the mental part of the game since he can get emotional and produce unforced errors. He has the resilience, but if his game is off or if his opponent is playing at a high level, he can get nervous and start not believing in himself. Besides, he is not consistent, because he can’t maintain his level throughout a match consistently like Nadal used to do during his prime or younger days. Alcaraz needs to work on these areas. Additionally, we do not know whether Sinner is allowed to play or not. Djokovic might take this as an opportunity since he knows that Alcaraz has never won the Australian Open before, whereas Sinner might not be playing in that event due to the case. If Djokovic has that hunger, determination and motivation, he is very difficult to defeat at the Australian Open regardless of whoever is on the other side. From the point of view, Djokovic needs to add more strength to enhance his attack power and also rely on his 1st serve percentage to prevent long rallies if he really wants to win a Grand Slam title. Although, the problem is that his stamina can be exposed to players who have immense returns, defence, and speed.

Djokovic could have won the Belgrade Open. But he just doesn't care about Connors' record. I would say that the 25th Grand Slam title is the last goal of his career.

i think djokovic will be extreme hungry next year. IF he stay injury free the next 2-3years i think he can even reached 109+ records BUT BUT BUT I THINK that djokovic will only play grandslams and 2-3 masters and not 500s thats why we will see what happends and he is also now 37. BUT the australian open 2025 will show us the way for the next years.....

I honestly thought Alcaraz will smoke ruud iam definitely shocked by the manner of defeat . Couple of days back in practice set with sinner Ruud could barely win games sinner smashing him with ease so i thought alcaraz will ease past Ruud .

Now you understand the difference between the two and many only picked alcaraz as the successor of big 3 the guy has lost 9 matches in straight sets this year including breadstick at the hands of botic, Humbert and Ruud . Inter isn't giving ten percent hype to sinner as compared to overhyped alcaraz .

Wont happen, too many factors contributing to him not winning. Biggest one is his mentality has changed, part time player enjoying life. He is slower, fear factor disappearing players now believe they can beat him.and for Novak to have easier runs in tournaments he needs to maintain his ranking which will be impossible playing so much less tournaments. Will need to perform at the AO, if he doesn't will be ranked outside top ten by French and so on. If Novak wins a slam playing part time, too me that would be one of the greatest slam wins by anyone in the game. In any tournament he plays if he's serves off he won't be winning anything, he needs that to be firing with total offence mindset. No one wins playing this game part time

New Sinner can yet again revert to old Sinner. It is not inevitable that he will be in this form next year. Infact there is no guarantee that he will be even allowed to play because the damocle's sword of WADA'S appeal against his controversial acquittal is hanging over him and might fall any time.

I think, like you, that if Djokovic wins #25 and his 100th title he will retire. He would deny that if asked today but my guess is that he will retire. He had to wait out the retirements of Murray and Nadal who will retire at Davis Cup. And although he can still play, the two top players can beat him and probably Zverev too. Medvedev could on a good day. So why continue punishing his body, doesn't make sense to me but then I'm not him.

@@mariepelletier3020 That would be the perfect scenario for his tennis career to reach the exact 100th titles by lifting his 25th title at his most successful Grand Slam tournament since these numbers feel more complete rather than overall 99th titles and 24 Grand Slam titles, respectively. After that, he can just retire from his professional tennis career. However, knowing Djokovic, if he is able to win the Australian Open, he is not retiring as long as his body allows him to play at a high level and try to win more Grand Slams in order to make it difficult for upcoming players to reach that record, like Alcaraz and Sinner. The only player who can consistently defeat Djokovic is Sinner, and not Alcaraz. Sinner is more consistent and plays similar to Djokovic, but with more power. Alcaraz can play his highest level in a single tournament, and then loses in the next tournament against some players he shouldn’t be losing to though. Again, it all depends on Djokovic’s path to the victory and if someone else is able to defeat Sinner on the way to the Final, he has a chance even though Alcaraz may also pose a threat, but unlikely since he is a bit inconsistent at times.

DJOKOVICS 99 titles are bigger than Federers 103 and Connors 109. These numbers are misleading. I would rather have Djokovics 99 than what Federer and Connors have. Why dont you say who is better player at 36 Roger or Novak. FED won Mickey Mouse tournaments at 37, Novak won one most important to him...gold. 25 slams are talked just because Margaret Court has 24. Roger and Rafa are not 2nd and 3rd best with slams, Ken Rosewall is with 23 slams. Novak is the only real record holder. From when does men and women results counts together. It doesnt. That only happened when Djokovic surpassed all men records. As I said 103 and 109 are irelevant, to 50 and 70 some small tournaMents Roger and Jimmy have. Novak doesnt have to win nothing anymore and his resime is the biggest in history. Somebody has to show up and win all that, what Novak has won and he has won everything.

No. It is Maths man. 99+ 4 GSs = 103. Man, I am always told by the so called scientific (both real and fake) pundits that Math never fails.
