Sorry I disagree, Federer has very weak mental strength, he needed to focus all his energy and belief into that ONE ace, at 40-15, and not panic, or rush, this is where Nadal, had he had these 2 mp, would never have blown it, he would have either hit an ace, or service winner, or grinded the point out somehow, until Novak submitted, Federer badly needs prayer, and sports psychologist, to get rid of these demons.

Many of us will have nightmares about that... would have been a really perfect fable to tell. But life is not a fable, that's why we are heartbroken. I would say Novak dug in those other matches and earned it the hard way. This match was different. It felt as though Fed wasn’t expected to win, perhaps should not have been in a position to win vs Djokovic especially following the emotional semifinal vs Rafa. Yet, despite all this, he was able to step back to the fold after losing 2 tough breakers, and was able to set himself up for victory in the 5th. Furthermore in that game, poor shot selection, tactics, and possibly nerves for the better of him. In short, this match ended with the feeling like Federer let it slip away rather than Djokovic pulling it from him.
