Will F1 Manager 2024 Be The Greatest Management Game EVER?

Mate I've got to take issue with your video & the majority of your points. Firstly, I completely understand your points with the game, basically a lack of depth across the board. Let me ask you, when was the last officially licensed F1 Manager game? I'll tell you for free, 1999. When you are developing anything, you need a solid foundation & base to work from, there was no way they could have added everything that we wanted as fans, that takes time, you have to support the game, support the developers, engage with the community & buy the games that they do release. Finally, for you to say that F1 Manager 24 will be exactly like F1 Manager 23, how do you know? Have you seen the new game? Have you played it? Have you developed it? That negatively that you have just put out will do nothing to engage the supporters & fans of the game for the new release. Do we want more features, yes, absolutely, I bet you the guys & gals at Frontier want to put a lot more in, but they have constraints to work within. Don't shoot the new game down before any of us have seen anything apart from a 60 second teaser trailer. Wait & judge it when we get our hands on it properly.

Off the track needs major improvements. Lists of past seasons winners for teams and drivers, historical statistics ect. Just feels very shallow after a couple of seasons.

I defended f1 2023 as for me they certainly made improvements but maybe not the wide scale changes people desired. However 3 years in now this one needs to make strides. I just worry they are shoe horned into a way of making the game fundamentals that it’ll make it hard to make big changes that will heighten immersion. Online multiplayer with friends would be huge. With the licence up I worry it’ll be dead if they don’t get it right.

I have Motorsport manager and F1 manager 2022 but I didn't buy last year's game because that car setup part doesn't belong in the game and it's very frustrating to get it right. A real F1 manager isn't the one responsible for the car setup. It's the mechanic and driver who is responsible for that. If they made that optional I would be more than happy to buy the game.

I think that Frontier is taking a different method from other yearly games, instead of making a game from scratch each year, they’re taking each year like a patch, and adding things on top of last years game, and improving gameplay, rather than Codies way of doing things.

I wouldn't mind that honestly but just simply make it a big expansion instead of its own game. I'd like to see a "F1 MANAGER" but without the 2000 this and that just 1 game with a yearly big expansion for like 25 bucks. Game would so soooo much bettee because people already game the game sto start with

I've basically decided I'm not buying this game again until multiplayer is added. Me and my friends are football manager addicts and F1 addicts so you'd think this is the perfect game but it's just not right. I so agree that saves with more than one manager would be so good and will make it way more competitive and having to make live decisions without a pause would definitely add to the excitement. We do a lot of multiplayer FM saves and those title races and games against each other emphasise victories and defeats so much more and genuinely makes it more fun. Must needed addition and cross platform should be easy as well as it's already the same on each device.

I have to say I dont agree with alot of what you said. Especially the "killer feature". MP is something all these youtubers talk about but when it comes down to sales an actual play time, i dont see that making a hell of a difference. F1 Manager is a single player game, from start to finish. It doesnt need mp or some single race event. The BIGGEST thing in my eyes the game needs, and it goes right along with custom teams....and thats starting in F3. The idea of a new team just popping up in F1 with no experience and never proving themselves to me is asinine. We had it in Motorsports Manager. We need it here. It would make the idea of bringing up and coming talent into the game at a bigger level that much more of a thing. My second biggest addition that needs to happen. Auto resolving/skipping races. Idk how many times ive thought of starting up my save only to think...ugh do I really want to sit around for an hour or more going thru all the practice..qualify and race? I just want to manage the team. My biggest flaw with the game is the races itself. It just can get so tedious, monotonous, and boring. Just let us skip when we want to and you get away from alot of the tedium. Edit: I agree with some of the comments. The idea that you hire this staff to do a job and you do it for them. Your the TEAM manager...not the mechanic...not the designer...not the pit crew manager...etc. Let them handle their respective jobs. Thats what you hire them for.

The idea of a F2 team being "promoted" into F1 like a football league is not realistic. In a fantasy world like MM it worked, but F1 manager can't do that.

@@iamjames8200 Trying to be a sim is great...but...after a certain point is just a sim and no longer a game. Its not fun. You still have to remember its a game. It doesn't have to follow the real world 100 percent. And if you want to create player retention, you give them goals. And moving up the ranks rather than just getting a single championship...yet again...will help that. Realistic or not.

This game needs Multiplayer seriously. I've been asking for Multiplayer since the original game. My wife has said that she will only support the game again once it has Multiplayer

For me, there was just too much you were needed to do. You weren't only the team principal, but you were engineers, strategists etc. It just took away the fun of building the team and not being able to sit back and watch them racing. You were having to micromanage the race for both drivers.

We need mod support. WEC or GT3 sim manager would be far more popular than F1 manager. More strategy and endurance races with day/night.

2 remarks: Make a version where you can choose which things you want to mange. In FM you can let the training do by other coaches and h-just focus on transfers and games (if you want). 2nd point: Do not make only a "manager" but also make a manager of you being a pilot. Let me be in a team as a driver... let me race without racing myself... just being there , chosing to push or defend... That would help our rubish sim racers (yes I'm one of them) to create our dreams.

⛔Don't cut the tasks or the races! There are voices who would like shorter races or a shortening of the time from race to race. No, don't do that! Admittedly, I find some sessions quite long and some (repetitive) tasks quite boring. So I prepare for the next race for quite a long time in RL time, follow the 100% race for a long time... and then... one (or both) of my drivers make a mistake (maybe even in the last laps of the race), or my drivers do are involved in an accident that throws my [!] (I am the boss of the racing team) cars out of the race, or even after a long RL preparation there is a technical defect in the race and leads to DNF... All my work for nothing, all my time wasted - I'm furious! Such a grpf&ndkr game! ****. God *****, ****. ****you! But you know what - this is F1. These emotions would disappear if you cut racing and/or preparation. I want these emotions! ❗Hands off, don't shorten, don't neuter the game!

Hey, honestly buddy it is lacking depth, has highlighted in the above video, but is the game as bad as what this youtuber is making it out to be? In my opinion, absolutely not! I would definitely recommend it, but don't expect the depth that say Football Manager gives you yet. I really enjoy it, it's my go to game on my PS5, i'm now into season 2029, started at AM, turned them into a powerhouse, then joined Williams for a couple of seasons, now it's my first season at Ferrari to turn around their fortunes.

@Kireth could you do a review on the motorsport manager mod for F1? Quite a few out there, not even sure which is the best/latest nowadays. But in terms of gamplay a moded version of MM was so much better than the F1 manager 22. I said it when ‘23 came out - i am not buying it, because it’s same old crapware as ‘22. Definitely not even buying this version either. Regarding setup, i initially enjoyed the minigame - especially a minigame - not actual setup. However that could have been tied up with track specific setups. Because i had monza running with high downforce 🤦‍♂️.

Not every game needs multiplayer to be good I’m sorry but multiplayer is my least wanted feature they have improved every title so far they have added every thing asked people are just entitled morons that want the world now and have no appreciation for what they get

I'm literally the opposite, I'd much rather have multiplayer than anything else, even create a team. Maybe I'm just not that imaginative but when I beat an AI on the last lap I can't imagine them being frustrated by it, but a friend playing as another team I could.
