As a father of two kids living in Oklahoma, I am scared for the future but I will never lose hope that everyone will feel safe to live here...

i was pretty ambivalent about this doc, since i had (still kinda have) a preconcieved notion about how out-of-touch Harper's trans experience is to most of ours... but your descriptions of many scenes made me cry; made me feel like there is still connection and solidarity to be found there, despite that ty for doing the review 💟

Watch this movie two nights ago with my parents. Seem to be pretty eye-opening for at least my mom. I don't think she fully got it. But I think at least explained a little bit better where some of my emotions were coming from.

I didn't even know about this movie until you posted this! I definitely want to check it out now, even if it will be a difficult watch in places. I recommended this video to my discord server so more people can hear about it too

I have been curious to hear thoughts on this movie from trans perspectives. Watching some of those moments in bars was nerve wracking and I was concerned that it might not be realistic.

Great review. I will try to watch this now. I know what you mean about wanting to make more content about your interests rather than your struggle for existence. This video seems like a good segue from politica to media analysis. I love both, so im thrilled for whatever you make. Most importantly, im thrilled you'll be making more of what makes you happy and fills your cup rather than what drains it. /m

Dragonheart would be such a good start 💟🐉 i looked up films w/ dragons and apparently there's a classic Disney film about a pacifist dragon that i did not know about called, "The Reluctant Dragon" 🤷🏻♀️
