Why can't a finance minister of India fail to understand the purpose behind the question. The rate reduction was peanuts, the exemption limits hasn't been increased since last 10 to 15 years. Inflation has been sky high. Vasic points she misses is, whatever you do to your tax system, if its not helping middle class save more then all the tax structures decisions are pointless. She doesn't really talk about increasing the tax net base in India by taxing agricultural incomes etc. She doesn't talk about by corporates are paying less taxes than people of India.

#WHYNOT? We income Tax payers don’t have this option for indirect TAX.. We pay income tax to government and the same amount if government virtually credited to our PAN account then while purchasing products we can avail GST exemption based on PAN(similar to how companies get GST exemption). This helps income tax payers not to pay additional indirect tax also they can spend more that will boost economy. If you like this idea, please talk about this and share it to bring the change
