I doubt renaming The Gulf Of Mexico is something Trump can do by himself since literally every other country would have to agree to the name change. It would be like if he wanted to have Mexico change its name to Southern United States. I doubt they'd want that or many other countries either.

This is an informal change , for the name to be officially changed , mexico and cuba would also have to agree , and after they agreed , that's when the proposal of the name change would be taken into the UN so all countries would change their maps and recongnize that body of water as the gulf of america.
