Now, divorced, ex husband hasnt worked in over 10 years and lives in low income housing with someone that proudly says she keeps having kids so she knows she wikk always have an income. I am not knocking their lifestyle by any means it just was not the life for me. Took 16 years for me to realize that our love and connection was amazing but that we werent going anywhere. Always stuck in a rut. Since our divorce I have thrived. I have custody of our children and even with little education I have worked my way up to give our children ans myself a much better life.

This is so good! As a woman I've been criticized for seeking a mate who has "money" They were sorely mistaken. I didn't date much because after HS I was looking for someone with similar values. I knew I wanted to contribute to society and make it better. I wanted someone who had an upbringing that valued Christ or christian concepts and knew something about Him. Someone who liked outdoors, hd the capacity to discuss issues even if we disagreed. It just so happens men with these values typically have drive, heart and work hard.
