I'm in Las Vegas to stop by CES, where Mercedes-AMG have introduced the new AMG Drive Sound technology in collaboration with legendary producer, Will.I.Am. Re-writing the rulebook, the new system enables the driver to conduct the music with inputs from steering to suspension and pedals creating a unique soundtrack to each journey. I'm hopping on board an EQE 53 4MATIC+ SUV with Will to drive the Las Vegas Strip and find out what it's all about.
Having grown up a huge fan of the Black Eyed Peas, and gone to one of their concerts at The O2 in London back in early 2010, it's definitely quite a fanboy moment for me meeting Will.I.Am, and being able to head out in the car and see how this tech really gets him going. Come along with me to sense his passion for the concept and how much it opens up a totally new world of music opportunity.

That's cool Tim, you hooked up with Will I Am. Definitely finding your way to the best events that are offered.. The only comment on that feature is since the 80s cars have had aftermarket systems installed in them. Especially in the 90s, we always redid the factory systems to cater to our music lists from CD changers to a I Pod to a memory stick to pairing your cell..

This feature is all about the drive. I find myself putting my foot down when I'm listening to favourite parts of songs. I think this feature will take that to the next level. It would really enhance the thrill of doing something dynamic in the car. Definitely wouldn't use it often but here and there, it would definitely be cool to play with and impress people with.

I love it what a great idea it’s like you are in your own movie clip with your own background music which you’re own emotions, it’s the ultimate in luxury for me. Just think it’s a same but the different sensation we get out of a v8 or or similar performance engine with the engine sound, we create our own sound with our v8’s v12 for a long time, this is a new concept for new generation less emotional ev’s to be bit more special or bit or emotional it’s own way grate will thanks for bringing it to us shmee 😊 😊
