this is defference between pro and amateur that is why i follow thor...he said he gonna do his absolute best he didnt say his gonna win 1 place ..by doing your best you are telling yurself you can win and thats how you win .... by thinking that you wanna be 1 place your brain start to question you can you do it then you start suspecting your skillz brain obstacle ..and that is why many competitors dont become champions--

I think it's good that you're focussing on the competition as a whole and not just the deadlift. The deadlift record can also be broken away from the Arnolds. Good luck !!!

Good luck champ, you are the best strongman within the last 10 years, and yes we know your not at your best right now, with having 4 years off, peck tear, losing over 50kg for the boxing match , not lifting weights, then putting the size back on and competing again at the top level, is a great story , 2018 Thor - noone stands a chance but we know your not at your best but I think you will do very well, very impressive, and I'm looking forward to today and tomorrow, also today's my birthday , so having a live comp with the best strongmen and strongwomen in the world competing with their returning , is a real treat ,

You are looking phenomenal and as if you just ate the Juggernaut from X-men for breakfast! Deep inside I know that you can break the Deadlift WR, and I believe in you 100%. 1,001 (454.0) as the 2nd lift might be enough to win the first event; and as you said, if someone manages to beat it only, then by all means go for the 1,051 (476.7) WR as your 3rd lift. Loved your optimism on the event predictions at 18:12 LFG! We also get a perspective on how Massive Hafthor is with that clip on the plane washroom at 17:28. Thank you for answering the fan questions and wishing you and the team all the best. I'm unable to come to Columbus Ohio, but my love and support will always be there via the livestream (big thanks to Arnolds and Rogue teams for it). *Koma Svo Hafthor! Do your best, and don't push it if anything feels not ok. We fans are with you no matter what.* --- Some points to ponder: - Your 454 (1,001) during the prep was 4 weeks prior (not 3). - The OH Tombstone is 186 Hafthor (not 195), and it's 8 kg lighter than your 194 stone. - You shouldered the OH Tombstone BOTH during 2018 and 2019 ASCs (1 rep each).
