Coyotes can did right under the chicken wire and get to the birds. To keep them out you can lay any type of fencing flat a few inches under the soil all around the perimeter. They won't be able to dig through it.

I pulled a back muscle doing gardening i need to harden up a bit that's the positive for me. I have a lot of rolly bugs that eat my seedlings i think my compost is to fresh.. i learned today to sieve my compost and mix with older soil..

Do you subscribe to Blossoms and Branch? She’s a regenerative flower farmer in Colorado and last year made wooden seed starting trays to avoid plastics. She said they worked well.👍
