Here's an idea on how to accurately blend a human hand, without actually blending a real hand by still being realistic. You need a human analog, if anyone has seen Mythbusters you know what I'm talking about. You need a ballistics gel mold of a skeletal hand with blood added for realism, and you pretty much got yourself an accurate human hand replica to really get a sense of what human hand would really look like blended up.
