So glad I stumbled across this video. My fuzz was unusable until I flipped that switch inside. NOW the fuzz has a massive range of gain. It can clean up or melt face. Very usable for a variety of moods. Thanks!!

@@SashaIvantic Same here, I almost sold my automatone, Thanks man!! It was hard to tail in a sound with my Mesa boogie mkIII. The sound was too much in your face and hard to tail in a workable sound. Now I tweaked it like a wet dream (for me)

I did that with mine ; now the fuzz gives me just a bit so I can add to a preset and it sounds amazing!!!

Great video as always sir. I was tweaking the internal pots and switch and got to the same results - much more useable. It really is an amazing piece of kit. The CXM 1978 is good as well.

I don't really recall but I believe it was flipping the switch, lowering the gain a bit and raising the volume a but. What might work for my rig may not work for yours though, so I'd recommend just setting it how it sounds right to you!

Is there a way to turn off the sliders from moving automatically? That just screams something that's going to break. 6 motors changing quickly every time you press a preset? I'd be surprised if that lasts 5 years. Edit: There's a switch inside that lets you turn off the motors! Good!

Mkii preamp owner as well. Please, someone share setting if we can make it sounds close the last Benson germanium fuzz. I like low gain setting with crisp highs. The closest I got is with high mids (no Q settings) and bass very low in a bright setting amp. Thanks!
