i cant wait that i the winter will come, with lots of snow, cold weather and then the Tesla. i already did see the video`s howTesla is doing in the US, so to compare if the Tesla will have the same problems in the UK, that would be fun. But, i love the video`s you make, main reason, you also make videos in the EU and not alone in the UK. BTW,already a cheap spoiler allert, for the winter, we got a discount center here, called Action, real cheap, but they sell covers for over your car. The cheapest thing you can buy for good protection that you still can open your Tesla after a freezing night. Trust me, really, that will make great video`s when the winter will arrive.

Could you get some gelatine hands and stuff and try the "danger" areas such as the top bit of the rear doors. That way you don't risk your own fingers but we can still see what results it gives!

Yeh, I have had that problem normally in winter, I think they just change the sill but thats not enough to stop it. Just never, NEVER open the boot when the doors are up and its been raining XD

I've a question for you. Let's say that you have passengers and you drive and suddenly, there is a fire inside the car. Everybody has to get out of the car as quickly as possible. How much time does it take to open the doors and even worse, will they open in case of electric failure ?

Yeah, sometimes I think these videos show way too exaggerated situations. If I would park that close with a "normal" door I wouldn't be able to open it at all in the first place. More often others park way too close so yeah, doesn't actually matter which car I'm using when someone parks literally mirror to mirror. For their complexity these falcon wing doors actually work pretty well imho. I've seen worse with VW T6 models where the automated rear door just slams into ceilings and stuff but on the other hand doesn't even try to close it when someone stands nearby. So eventhough these automated doors are kinda weird and you need to get used to it I honestly think that they are one of the best on the market right now.

The car know when there is a body pressing the button on the falcon wings door so it will open as high as it can becouse it think that you will move away ( Maybe )

It opens into you because the sensors are better at detecting hard objects like walls and other cars. A squishy human is harder to detect with sensors like those.
