Engines that have been sitting for years could really benefit from priming with gasoline mixed for a two-stroke engine. The oil in the mix helps lube those dry cylinders. I like the fact your saving the old gals that most people wouldn't bother with. Keep up the rescues!

We had a 1968 Lesabre this same color. It is called Antique Gold but ours was a four door. The round missing insignia is actually a side marker light for the right rear. One of the two Buick emblems you have goes on the front between the two grill sections. The other goes on the trunk lid below the key hole. The third one is an extra. I have a complete original 1968 Buick sales book that contains a lot of info if you have questions about this car.

What do you think they should be priced at? They are both incredibly clean examples. Youll have more than 8k in metal work in either of them if you found worse examples, and one being a 60 pontiac with the iconic 59/60 gm roofline, 2 dr hardtop is just an added bonus. The convertible...i mean come on, super hard to find & it runs! Prices are all based on supply and demand and i found several examples of both cars in not as good of shape sell for similar prices. I am as fair as i can be. I follow the market and the market dictates the prices. But no problem, thanks for watching and glad you enjoy the videos

Well for next weekend or when you get your tires be sure to get a pipe whistle Navy style All aboard he's going aboard and lanyard sails again! Now this is a very neat car! But that's what we call them in the day. Assuming you're going to sell the car down the line that's a great color combination! Older guys tend to like those colors. That seems like younger guys are into them too the off colors something other than red blue black or white. The interior fantastic color you don't want dark colors to burn the skin and white just shows too much dirt or dust. You're extra horn item is probably from a Buick from about 1975 give or take 2 years. Of course googling Buick interiors ought to bring that up. And the first thing I thought of is I I grew up around this cars and maybe it's just a fluke but they were all four barrels. Who cared about gas prices back when this car was new until shortly later with the Arabs cutting off our oil in which we finally get semi-independent from an hour dependent back on them. Forgive me for the sidebar. It was a common mistake to put the two barrel on. As my dad told me if you want to get better gas mileage and you can't keep your foot out of it just disconnect the back to barrels and that was easy enough to do in the carburetors we were using. Maybe there's a casting number but the first place I would look for a two barrel intake to see how it matches that horn covered you showed us from a newer model Buick. Love your video and what you doing for this car but the other one behind it is growing on me. Now I'm going to go back and finish watching this episode.

You shouldn't really go on if the engine is locked up or not by turning the fan. Most of the time, the belt would just slide around the crank pulley or the fan pulley. I'll bring you some oil that I use to break an engine loose Saturday.
